Omdat er zo verschrikkelijk veel karakters zijn is het in het begin wat moeilijk te volgen, maar het wordt steeds leuker wanneer je alle personages begint te herkennen en hun onderlinge relaties wat beter snapt.

Fox has greenlit The Frankenstein Code, a modern-day retelling of the famous Gothic tale, TVLine has learned.

Fox on Thursday added a pair of wildly different series to its 2015-2016 schedule: the Rob Lowe-led comedy The Grinder and the murder procedural Rosewood.

Let’s start with The Grinder, a comedy about TV lawyer Dean “The Grinder” Sanderson (Lowe) who finds himself at a major crossroads when his long-running hit show comes to an end. Ultimately, he decides to move back to his tiny home town, where he fully believes he has the know-how to run his real-life family’s law firm. The Grinder also stars Fred Savage (The Wonder Years), Mary Elizabeth Ellis (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), William Devane (24: Live Another Day) and Hana Hayes.

Rosewood also stars Gabrielle Dennis (The Game), Anna Konkle and Maggie Elizabeth Jones (Ben and Kate).

The Grinder and Rosewood join Scream Queens and the six-episode X-Files revival as Fox’s first 2015-16 pickups.

On the heels of ordering three new dramas for the 2015-16 TV season, NBC has given a green light to three new sitcoms: The Mark-Paul Gosselaar-fronted People Are Talking, the America Ferrera workplace comedy Superstore and the Patrick Warburton-Carrie Preston family satire Crowded.

Starring Gosselaar (Franklin & Bash), Meaghan Rath (Being Human), Tone Bell (Bad Judge) and Bresha Webb (Grey’s Anatomy), the multi-cam project follows two diverse couples who are both neighbors and best friends. As they go through life side-by-side, they can’t help but analyze and obsess about everything — from topics like sex and race, to the fact that the trusted new babysitter might just be a porn star. DJ Nash (Growing Up Fisher) penned the pilot and will executive-produce alongside Will Packer (Ride Along) and pilot director Pam Fryman (How I Met Your Mother).

In Superstore, Ugly Betty-alum Ferrera and Mad Men‘s Ben Feldman are part of a unique family of employees at a super-sized megastore. From the bright-eyed newbies and the seen-it-all veterans to the clueless summer hires and in-it-for-life managers, together they hilariously tackle the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions. Justin Spitzer (The Office) penned the pilot and will serve as an EP.

Crowded, from Hot in Cleveland creator Suzanne Martin, centers on empty nesters Mike (Warburton) and Martina (Preston) who are finally reclaiming their wild side when both of their two grown daughters unexpectedly move back in. What’s more, Mike’s parents scratch their plans to spend their golden years in Florida, making for an even fuller house.

Fall TV: Lucifer and Minority Report Dramas Get Series Orders at Fox

Fox has picked up for the 2015-16 TV season two dramas — Lucifer and Minority Report — to help fill the vacancies created by its cancellation of The Following and Backstrom.

Based on characters from DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis (Rush) in the title role. Bored as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.

The cast also includes Lauren German (as Det. Chloe Dancer), Rachael Harris (Kim Martin), DB Woodside (Amenadiel), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Maze), Nicholas Gonzalez (Dan) and Scarlett Estevez (as Trixie.)

Tom Kapinos (Californication) penned the pilot and will executive-produce with Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, New_Series_Fox_MinorityReportIldy Modrovich and director Len Wiseman.

Minority Report meanwhile picks up 10 years after the end of Pre-crime in DC, where one of the three Pre-cogs, Dash (Inside Llewyn Davis‘ Stark Sands) struggles to lead a “normal” human life, haunted as he is by visions of the future. But then Dash meets a detective (Deception‘s Meagan Good) who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.

The cast also includes Wilmer Valderrama, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li and Zhane Hall.
Max Borenstein (Godzilla) penned the Minority Report pilot and will exec-produce with showrunner Kevin Falls, Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, and director Mark Mylod.
