Plot BOB'S BURGERS is a new animated series about a man, his family and a burger joint. A third-generation restaurateur, BOB BELCHER (H. Jon Benjamin, FAMILY GUY, "Archer") runs Bob's Burgers with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob has big ideas about burgers, condiments and sides, but only a few thoughts on customer service and business management. Despite his greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally spotty service, Bob is convinced his burgers speak for themselves. Even though business is slow, Bob gets to work with his family. His wife, LINDA BELCHER (John Roberts, "The Christmas Tree," "Jackie & Debra"), supports Bob's dream through thick and thin (but truth be told, she's getting a little sick of the thin). Their eldest daughter, TINA (Dan Mintz, "Important Things with Demetri Martin," "The Andy Milonakis Show"), is a 13-year-old hopeless romantic with minimal social skills. Middle child GENE (Eugene Mirman, "Flight of the Conchords," "Aqua Teen Hunger Force") is an aspiring musician and a prankster who serves up more jokes than burgers. Their youngest, LOUISE (Kristen Schaal, "Flight of the Conchords," "Modern Family"), is the most enthusiastic about her dad's business, but an off-balance sense of humor and her elevated energy level make her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen. Beyond the restaurant is a city rich with character. Next door to Bob's is It's Your Funeral Home and Crematorium; down the street is Wonder Wharf, the oceanside amusement pier; and a few blocks away is Wagstaff Middle School, where Bob and Linda's kids go to school. And across the street is Jimmy Pesto's Pizzeria, Bob's Burgers' main competition and the thorn in Bob's side.

For Molly, focusing on smart choices isn't easy because she lives with her sexy older sister, Victoria (Katy Mixon), and their mother, Joyce (Swoosie Kurtz), both of whom flaunt their healthy appetites and slender figures. Mike also faces temptation at the diner he and Carl frequent, where they've become friends with the Senegalese waiter, Samuel (Nyambi Nyambi), who finds trying to eat less a foreign concept. For Mike and Molly, thanks to their mutual love of pie and the desire to resist it, finding each other may have been worth the "weight."

Law, courthouse en medical series heb ik voorlopig wel genoeg gezien.
Politieseries eigenlijk ook, maar daar kan je nog enigszins een goeie draai aan geven.
Hawaii Five-O zag er goed uit met een groot budget. Grace Park en Daniel Dae Kim zijn ook pluspunten.
Ik ben benieuwd wat ze met Nikita doen, maar ik vrees het ergste.
Ik ben momenteel toch wel het meest benieuwd naar The Event.

. Why als ik vragen mag?Maar die ga ik ook niet gelijk volgen denk ik. Elk jaar starten er zoveel nieuwe series om al snel weer te sneuvelen. Ik heb geen zin om helemaal in een serie te komen waarna die zomaar ineens afgekapt wordt.

an investeer je dus zoveel tijd in bijv Flashforward en dan kappen ze ermee
En aangezien ik nog een waslijst heb aan oudere shows die ik nog moet afkijken of zelfs maar beginnen....

After weeks of negotiations, Maura Tierney has formally signed on to star in ABC’s new legal drama The Whole Truth, sources confirm. She replaces Joely Richardson, who quit the project earlier this month so she could spend more time with her family.
In Truth, which chronicles the building of a case from the perspective of both the defense and the prosecution, Tierney will play Kathryn Peale, a deputy bureau chief in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Numb3rs‘ vet Rob Morrow costars as Kathryn’s primary opponent, rising criminal attorney Jimmy Brogan.
Tierney attempted a TV comeback last spring on NBC’s Parenthood, but she was forced to drop out to undergo treatment for breast cancer. (Lauren Graham eventually replaced her.) Tierney’s cancer is now in remission.

Jordana Spiro has fallen out of Love Bites, NBC’s upcoming romantic anthology series from Sex and the City scribe Cindy Chupack.
Spiro’s involvement with the buzzy Bites (which also stars Ugly Betty vet Becki Newton) has been the subject of much speculation given the fact that she’s still contractually bound to TBS’ My Boys. Although the odds appear slim that TBS will renew the show for a fifth season (season 4 premieres July 25), it was a risk NBC apparently wasn’t willing to take. It’s unclear if her role will be recast.
The Peacock faces a similar dilemma with Spiro’s My Boys costar Kyle Howard, who is one of the leads of NBC’s new comedy Perfect Couples.
Speaking of My Boys, thanks to all those who participated in my informal poll in this week’s Ask Ausiello. The results are in and Kim is not the only fan of the show. Not by a long-shot.

How come?
Bites has been dealt two big setbacks — one happy, the other not so much: Leading lady Becki Newton is pregnant with her first child (congrats!)…and showrunner Cindy Chupack has stepped down for personal reasons (drat).
“Launching an anthology series, which breaks the form in so many ways, is a huge undertaking, and I strongly feel that I can be most helpful not showrunning, but writing,” said Chupack in a statement. “It just became clear that for several reasons, some of them personal, this change (and a little more time) is what we need to launch this show properly.”
Additionally, the Peacock is now confirming my scoop from last week that Jordana Spiro is out due to her ongoing commitment to My Boys. There are no plans at present to recast her role of Frannie.
NBC’s scheduling guru Mitch Metcalf says the decision to hand the plum Thursday-at-10 p.m. slot to The Apprentice was “the simplest option,” adding that the show “was well along into production and will be able to join the [fall lineup] without missing a beat.”

Sneak preview van The Event is niet zo boeiend. Vrees het verhaal ook niet. Afgaande op de beelden is het verhaal al redelijk voorspelbaar. Of ze moeten met hele aparte twists komen.

Leuke ontwikkelen voor een beginnende serie en gelukkig is het niet te braaf.
Wel is het jammer, maar ook logisch dat ze niet alles visueel kunnen tonen.
Nu hopen dat de serie scoort op CW. maar dat zal denk ik wel lukken met The Vampire Diaries als lead-in.

Terriers was wel ok, maar ik zie het niet één van mijn favoriete series worden dit seizoen.
De kijkcijfers waren voor een première nogal laag.

Gisteren an no ordinary family gekeken en dat was supertof, man v food was ook weer leuk (geen idee of jullie dat ook kijken, maar het is echt een leuk programma).
Die The Vampire Diaries is ook nieuw toch, is dat wat?
No Ordinary Family kijk ik wel als de HD versie te vinden is.
The Vampire Diaries zit nu in zijn tweede seizoen en had vorig seizoen de beste kijkcijfers van alle scripted series op CW.
Zelf heb ik geen idee of het ook wat is, op één scene na die ik op NL tv heb gezien.
Buffy en True Blood vind ik geweldig, maar ik weet niet in welk hokje ik deze serie echt moet plaatsen. Gevoelsmatig ging ik er automatisch vanuit dat het meer de kant opging van het zoetsappige Twilight, waar ik dus totaal niet van hou. Recensies zijn blijkbaar wel goed.

Zit wat spul tussen wat soms al even loopt, maar ik ken het niet en ga het eens bekijken. Misschien is het wat, misschien niet. Pulp als daten en boer zoekt vrouw in het donker vind ik erg vermakelijk, eens zien hoe dat er in het buitenland uitziet.
.Nikita vond ik eigenlijk wel tegenvallen. Origineel nooit gezien. Alleen het einde was wel interessant dus ik geef het nog een kansje volgende week.
Nog even over The Vampire Dairies. Ze proberen allemaal donker en mysterieus te zijn, maar het is echt te kinderlijk, de verhalen.
Nikita ook gekeken en kon me niet boeien dus sla ik maar over
Dus als er meer mensen zijn zonder mediaplayer, dit werkt ook redelijk goed en is lekker goedkoop.

Ik heb net aflevering 1 van de serie Beast Legends bekeken (van SF Channel), maar dat is niet echt wat. Het idee is goed: onderzoeken of monsters uit legendes bestaan en ze hebben een goed team wetenschppers en zo te zien ook een aardig budget (ze reizen de hele wereld over), maar in de eerste aflevering over een reuzenoctopus willen ze er op een gegeven moment lasers opzetten en nog meer van die onzin. Ik ben gek op wetenschappelijke programma's, maar dit is het niet.

Ik heb net Nikita gezien, tja, wat kan ik erover zeggen... dat gaat het hem niet worden, Maggie Q als Nikita is natuurlijk niet goed gecast, die meid kan goed acteren, maar is te dun, heeft geen borsten en je zou wensen dat ze permanent een papieren zak over haar hoofd had zitten. En Shane West lijkt met dit kapsel een mietje, ik vind het zo ongeloofwaardig wat hij neerzet. Als hij nu zijn kop zou scheren (zie foto imdb), dan lijkt het nog wat.
Tiffany Hines, Lyndsy Fonseca en Xander Berkeley zijn natuurlijk wel tof.
Maar aangezien het allemaal gaat draaien om Maggie Q ga ik afhaken. Ik vind het gewoon niet fijn om haar in een rood badpak te zien, ik denk elk moment dat ze flauw gaat vallen en hoe ze de vechtscenes doet, met haar dunne armpje dat smaller is dan mijn pik slaat ze gasten van 2 meter en 120 kilo neer, echt
Einde vond ik ook wat jammer, verklappen ze opeens alles! Maar ik kijk het nog even aan, denk alleen dat dit niet een serie is die lang gaat lopen, als ik de pilot vergelijk met series als fringe, dollhouse, lost, prison break of welke andere serie dan ook die erg goed loopt, dan valt de pilot wel erg tegen (en wat rommelig).
Maar hopelijk wordt het wat beter allemaal en gaat Maggie Q naar de achtergrond en neemt Lyndsy Fonseca het van haar over.
Wat is dit trouwens (gevonden met google afbeeldingen) , komt deze scene uit een aflevering van Nikita die nog moet komen? (rechts is Lyndsy Fonseca)

Ik kan je nu al verzekeren dat het niet zo gaat worden. Die serie heet geloof ik "Legend of the Seeker" toch? Of haal ik hem nu door de war. Dat is iig pure bagger en gewoon een soort Xena maar dan om de boeken van Goodkind heen gebouwd. A Game of Thrones gaat uitgezonden worden op HBO en dan weet je gewoon al dat het aan een bepaalde standaard gaat voldoen. Ik volg het productie proces nu al een paar jaar en ik heb hoge verwachtingen van deze serie, ook omdat ik het bron materiaal goed ken en ik weet dat het uit kan groeien tot een enorme hit.
Het is in ieder geval niet te vergelijken met Legend of the Seeker.

Met het bronmateriaal wordt het vast schitterend, al denk ik dat ze na seizoen 3(boek 3) wel een eigen koers (moeten) gaan volgen. Maar eerst maar duimen dat het zover komt!
No Ordinary Family gezien en vond ik erg leuk. Ga ik zeker volgen, ben benieuwd wat voor verhalen de serie gaat vertellen.
Nikita was een misschien. Paar afleveringen checken en kijken of het boeit. Twist op het einde was aardig.

Net de pilot aflevering van Outlaw bekeken en als je van rechtbankverhalen houdt, dan is dit echt een hele dikke aanrader!
Echt een fantastische serie, zo te zien losstaande verhalen waar een rode draad doorheen loopt en de karakters zijn erg tof, wat minder braaf dan normaal en veel sexistische oprmekingen van Carly Pope (zat ook in Californication) erin, heerlijk.
Die blijf ik volgen.

Vond aflevering 2 echt veel beter dan de pilot, erg leuk en minder braaf dan dat ik dacht. Deze blijf ik volgen. Als ik het zo nu kan plaatsen gaat Q steeds meer naar de achtergrond of doet er wat bij, maar wordt de hoofdpersoon toch echt Alex en niet Q (Nikita).

Lonestar zou weleens één van de meest kwalitatieve series van dit seizoen kunnen worden. Het is dan ook te hopen dat er een groot publiek interesse heeft.
Mike & Molly vind ik nog wat lastig om te zeggen, maar zal waarschijnlijk niet veel te klagen hebben met Two and a Half Men als lead-in.

The Event is nog even wennen. De spanning werd er telkens uitgehaald door het achterliggende verhaal, maar rond de 30ste minuut werd het wel interessant.
Mike & Molly had zo zijn grappige momenten, maar als geheel vond ik het niet geweldig. De donkere gasten waren misschien nog wel het grappigst.
Aflevering 2 van Lost Girl vond ik al een stuk minder.

Chase bevalt mij wel, niet heel vernieuwend, maar dit soort spul gaat er altijd wel bij mij in. Ik had gedacht dat het een wat meer doorlopend verhaal zou zijn, maar dat is het denk ik nu niet. Ik hoop toch echt op series als lost of prison break, series met losse afleveringen zijn leuk ,maar vind ik toch iets minder dan een doorlopend verhaal.
Heb eigenlijk dit jaar ook geen tijd om er weer een hele hoop te volgen. Wacht denk ik een paar weken en kijk dan van een of twee series die overblijven alle afl. wel in 1 weekend.
