Newbies zijn altijd welkom en bij vragen helpen we graag! Er zijn veel ervaren hardstylers in dit topic te vinden dus meestal is er wel iemand die een antwoord heeft.
Wat is Hardstyle?
De sound is karakteristiek voor de stijl en kan omschreven worden als harde beats gecombineerd met erg aanwezige (in tegenstelling tot hardcore) melodielijnen. Veel hardcore-artiesten produceren ook hardstyle tracks, die vergelijkbaar klinken maar toegankelijker zijn. Hardstyle wordt in het Verenigd Koninkrijk vaak gecombineerd met hardhouse. In de rest van de wereld echter vindt men vaker de combinatie met hardtrance of hardcore.
Geschiedenis
Één van de sleutelfiguren in de ontwikkeling van de stijl is Dana van Dreven (met name onder Danamite), bekend onder haar hardstyle dj-alias Dana (Lady Dana voor hardcore). Later hielpen meer van haar collega's uit het hardcore-tijdperk, zoals Pavo, Darkraver, Luna (met name onder Straight On), Zany, DJ Isaac en The Prophet.

Wow, wat een prachtig filmpje heeft q-dance in elkaar gezet voor de feestfabriek. (althans Ruud heeft die voor elkaar gekregen)
Daar is echt veel tijd en geld in gestoken. Ook de extra's die mensen krijgen die hun code gebruikt hebben. Je kunt dan wel hele verhalen hangen hoe corrupt Q-dance is en al dat gebeuren met boekingen, maar ze doen echt wel hun best om iedereen helemaal in de stemming te krijgen.
De line-up is ook erg goed. Maar wat Bart ook zegt, het is heel veel dus ik ben benieuwd hoe ze dat gaan doen.
