Voor MMarsu: Kneus van het jaar? Omdat ik 1 maal heb gezegd dat ik NIET snap waarom mensen zo negatief zijn? En omdat ik 1 afschuwelijk slecht geschreven en slecht onderbouwde impressie "nutteloos prutswerk" noem? Je mag mij daarom kneus noemen. Maar dat zegt dan meer iets over jezelf.

According to the source, the new Halo game will be a spin-off that resembles "a cross between Ghost Recon and Gears of War." It will reportedly tell a "less cartoony" and "more bloody, violent, and grim" tale of a battle between UNSC forces and the pan-racial religious empire known as the Covenant. The game's atmosphere was described as similar to that of the live-action Halo shorts directed by South African filmmaker Neil Blomkamp (pictured), who was to helm the now-stalled big-screen adaptation of the game.

The source says the upcoming Halo game is a tactical shooter that will follow a squad of colonial marines or orbital drop shock troopers engaged in "intense" fighting on the ground. Gameplay details were scant, other than the fact it will reportedly allow gamers to play as an entire squad in co-op mode through the entire campaign. The exact number of co-op players has yet to be finalized, but it could be as high as eight. It is unclear if the new game is the same as the "Halo: Forerunner" project first rumored in 2006.

Infinity Ward lanceerde eind 2007 de topgame Call of Duty 4, een spel dat sindsdien online zeer populair is. Infinity Ward probeert de game online interessant te houden door te experimenteren met nieuwe matches.
Volgend weekend zal Community Manager Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling experimenteren met vier nieuwe type matches. Zijn experimenten gaan door op Xbox Live. Hij zal de volgende matches testen.

Bare-Bones Team Deathmatch: Geen perk, geen kill-streak beloningen.
Hardcore HQ: Meer schade, geen HUD en vriendelijk vuur.
Multi-Bomb Search and Destroy: Elk lid van het aanvallende team heeft een bom.

Impressions :

- Bad animations all over, cutscenes are horrible and the framerate is janky.
- The dialogue is simply lol, so cheesy it's worse than moldy cheese
- Buggy. Yes try jumping on the first stairs, you stand a feet up in the air!
- Gameplay, well it's fun I guess if you like this kind of game. It's just a straight up mashing game like NNN or something, not my cup of tea.
- Your friendly NPC squad doesn't do shit.

Ugh..as horrible as I thought it was gonna be. Really I went into the demo with an open mind but hey the game is quite horrible, and only 10 hours long. Graphics are atrocious too, for a UE3 game. I just got UT3 last week and my god the difference is like Ps2 > Xbox 360 to me.

I quit playing before the demo ended, did not want to see more, or play more.
