Winters waar het onafgebroken koud is, zijn uiterst zeldzaam in Nederland. Meestal houdt het bij twee weken winter echt wel op.quote:

Is het niet zo dat 'echte winters' in Nederland altijd een voorafje hadden, dan 2 weken getrut met regen, en dan serieuze kou ?
Daarom zijn b.v. februari 1956 en winters als 1963 en 1979 pure nostalgie en lijken niet meer te kunnen voorkomen in deze tijd van klimaatverandering.
Zoals Lovely al zegt, het is maar net hoe de wind waait. Het is al moeilijk om oostenwind te krijgen in Nederland en al helemaal voor langere tijd.
