The White House spokesperson confirmed that the US authorisation is already in place and is intended to enable Ukrainians to counter Russian fire with US weapons.

Carpenter recalled that as the full-scale Russian invasion progressed, the United States tried to provide Ukraine with priority equipment, from Javelin anti-tank missiles to air defence systems.

Opposition member Reghina Apostolova accused Sandu’s Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) of double standards, saying the chamber should also denounce sufferings of children in the former Yugoslavia. Communist Deputy Oleg Reidman urged caution, saying genocide was a legal term with criteria to be met.
Radu Marian of the ruling PAS rejected opposition objections, saying “These are our neighbours. Thousands of Ukrainian children, the children of refugees, have been housed here.”
Russia rejected allegations that it has abducted or deported Ukrainian children, saying they have been taken to safe areas, away from the conflict.
The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant in March 2023 for Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing the forced transfer of children to Russia.

He said, with Russia’s affectionate middle name usage, “The miracle did not happen. Our Donald Fredovych was found guilty on all 34 counts.” For that, Dudakov blamed the judge and the jury and baselessly claimed that all of them were prejudiced against Trump. “Now, he is a felon,” he surmised, while also noting that the former president’s incarceration as a result of this conviction is unlikely.
Dudakov expressed hope that despite his legal troubles, Trump would still win in the upcoming presidential election. Kulikov and Dudakov jointly echoed Tucker Carlson’s assertions that their preferred candidate will prevail, “unless desperately panicked Democrats will organize an assassination of Donald Fredovych.” They expressed hope that Biden—not Trump—would die before the elections.

Also, the Russians dropped guided bombs (KABs) on Vovchansk, injuring a Swiss volunteer who was evacuating animals.
The Russian army shelled the village of Novoosynove, Kupiansk district, causing a car to catch fire and damaging six private houses. The shelling killed one person and injured one.
In the village of Yurchenkovo, Chuhuiv district, the Russians damaged and destroyed two shops. They also injured a man.
Evacuation is currently underway in the region. According to Oleh Syniehubov, police, volunteers, and rescuers evacuated about 11,300 people from the border communities of Kharkiv Oblast.
