Zolang ook de VS niet openlijk zegt: we hebben oorlog met die gasten, zodat er provisies in werking gaan waaronder MS eenzijdig contracten kan verbreken, kun je van bedrijven verwachten dat ze risico mijden, en dan is zeggen: we gaan geen nieuwe contracten meer aan, wat je hebt blijft werken, tot het verloopt een heel aardige middenweg.

En dat die ene pijplijn al astronomisch duur wordt, siberie en china liggen nu eenmaal niet bij elkaar in de buurt, en sowieso de vraag of china dat wel kan zonder westerse knowhow, is al dubieus, maar de haatdwerg zou graag zien dat china de kosten wel ff verdubbelt.

Het lijkt er toch op dat de Russen gaan voor een belegering van Kharkiv. Na de grootste terreinwinst in anderhalf jaar tijd.
En de Amerikaanse leveringen komen pas eind! dit jaar.
Dat kan wel eens een heel lelijk halfjaar worden voor de Oekraïners.

Rusland heeft het geld niet om echt bij te dragen aan dit project.
China kijkt hierin puur naar haar eigen belangen, en die zijn niet altijd in lijn met die van Rusland.

Mr Zelensky on Friday warned that Putin could intensify his offensive and said Kyiv would only accept a “fair peace” despite the West’s calls for a quick solution.

"We have to be sober and understand that they (Russian troops) are going deeper into our territory. Not vice versa. And that's still their advantage," Zelensky said.
Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv is a major Russian target, but Moscow understands that it would be "very difficult" to try to take it.
"It is a big city, and they understand that we have forces that will fight for a long time," Zelensky added.

Dit zal wel moeilijk worden voor de VN. Niets zeggen is lullig voor Hamas, da's goedkeuren. Maar afkeuren is vragen om commentaar waarom Russische aanvallen op ziekenhuizen op stilzwijgen van de VN kunnen rekenen. Wat is nu wijsheid. Helemaal als de Russen gaan zeggen dat er allemaal vrouwen en kinderen zaten.
