Rather, Israel is seeking to either destroy these norms or create a new normal in which it - much like the US - will be untouchable above these laws and norms.
This is the exact type of conduct that usually prompts the US to label a country a pariah or rogue state. The US accuses such states of seeking to destroy the "Rules Based Order."
But so far, Biden has acquiesced to Israel's conduct in this area as well as all other aspects of Israel's slaughter in Gaza.

It seems the latter voices are louder than ever, and they are demanding a major response to deter such Israeli strikes.
Iran’s potential retaliatory measures could include strikes on Israeli interests in third countries, proportional responses within Israel, actions in the Golan Heights, or cyber-attacks. The nature of Iran’s response will have profound implications for the Middle East and beyond.
A pivotal factor in this equation will be the stance of the US to Netanyahu’s actions. Will Biden finally exert coercive pressure on Netanyahu to avert a broader regional conflict, or will allow the situation to deteriorate further, potentially spiraling into a regional war that would be disastrous for US interests and beneficial for great power adversaries like Russia and China.

Vor jou moet dit ook moeilijk zijn.
Je had veel liever gerapporteerd over hoe succesvol de Hamas-"commando's" zijn tegen het IDF, en hoe fantastisch het is dat de slechtbewapende verzetsstrijders het geavanceerde Israëlische leger te kijk zetten. Net als 2006.
In plaats daarvan moet je je beperken tot huilverhalen en vergezochte beschuldigingen in de hoop dat de internationale opinie nog van invloed kan zijn. De slachtofferrol kortom, want de strijd is al gestreden, de nederlaag is al een feit. En Israël laat daarbovenop blijken dat de internationale opinie deze keer geen rol speelt...
