Faced with the ongoing war with Russia, Ukraine takes a bold step towards peace by organizing a peace summit inviting over 160 countries. The summit will be held in neutral Switzerland, with the exact date yet to be determined.
The main goal of this event is to present the 10-point peace plan proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The plan encompasses key issues such as:
• Restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity – regaining all territories occupied by Russia, including Donbas and Crimea.
• Withdrawal of Russian troops – complete withdrawal of armed forces of the Russian Federation from Ukraine.
• Protection of food and energy supplies – ensuring security and stability in global food and energy supply chains.
• Nuclear safety – guaranteeing the safety of nuclear power plants in Ukraine and preventing a nuclear catastrophe.
• Release of all prisoners – exchange of prisoners of war and return of all civilians and military personnel held by Russia.
Invitations to the summit were sent to all UN member states, as well as to several key international organizations, such as the European Union, NATO, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The event is expected to be attended by heads of state, foreign ministers, and other high-ranking officials.
The choice of Switzerland as the venue for the summit is not accidental. The country's neutrality, strengthened by a long tradition of diplomacy, makes it an ideal location for impartial peace negotiations.
Organizing the summit is a significant step taken by Ukraine towards ending the ongoing war. On the one hand, the summit can increase pressure on Russia to start negotiations and seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict. On the other hand, it can also strengthen Ukraine's position on the international stage and increase support for its cause.
We will invite Russia, but...
Yermak said that during the second summit "there may be a situation where we will invite representatives of the Russian Federation together and this plan will be presented to them" if by then Russia will be represented by someone who "really wants to end this war".
The peace summit in Switzerland is not only an attempt to end the war but also a symbol of hope for the future. It demonstrates Ukraine's determination to fight for peace and sovereignty, as well as the willingness of the international community to support it in this endeavor.

Russian soldiers from the 81st Volunteer Brigade “Bears” burst into the “Fortress” cafe in the village of Chernomorskoye, started shooting in the air and brutally beat the visitors. This was reported yesterday by “Important Stories” and a number of telegram channels.
Video from surveillance cameras appeared in the village community on the Vkontakte social network. The recording shows how the military insults civilians, beats them with batons, shoots in the air and near people's heads. The attack allegedly occurred on the night of February 23-24.
“My loved one is in serious condition in the hospital. (Who was beaten, sits on a chair). Friends, help spread the video and give it publicity. So that this does not happen again tomorrow with your children and loved ones. My heart bleeds from the atrocity,” she wrote.
The girl later told Important Stories the details of the attack:
“Two balding, boorish men who beat up visitors turned out to be military officers on duty. They drank and celebrated February 23 in a cafe. They had a conflict with people in the cafe, they didn’t like something, and they called for reinforcements from the “Bears” unit. Armed, masked men burst onto the balcony of the establishment where people were socializing and smoking, and began beating them. Moreover, their conflict initially did not arise with the people on the balcony. They put my young man on a chair and began to brutally beat him with batons. His brother, who tried to stand up for him, and his friends also suffered. When we tried to find out the names of these people, we were informed that they would try to hush up the case. This was reported by people related to the military, let’s put it this way.”
One of the young people was hospitalized with a fracture of the bridge of the nose, facial bone, soft tissue injuries on the back of the head, a closed head injury and bruises, the victim’s mother told Important Stories.
“The 81st volunteer brigade “Bears” was created in 2023 in Crimea. As Krym.Realii wrote, it is part of the Redut PMC, which is controlled by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The “Bear” is likely stationed in a military town in the village of Perevalnoye - at the former base of the 36th separate coastal defense brigade of Ukraine (currently the 126th separate guards coastal defense brigade of the Russian Ministry of Defense is located here).
At the same training ground, “Bears” instructors trained the “people’s militia” of Crimea, allegedly at the request of the Russian head of the annexed peninsula, Sergei Aksenov.
Aksenov's adviser Oleg Kryuchkov later stated that the Bears are not associated with the Russian authorities in Crimea.

Dit ziet er nep uit. Maar waarom maken de Russen een propaganda filmpje waarin ze zogenaamde Oekraïense soldaten mishandelen/martelen.
De uniformen en handen zien er bijvoorbeeld veel te schoon uit. En ook zijn alle insignia's verwijderd en de gezichten zijn niet zichtbaar (hebben we al in eerdere propaganda filmpjes van de Russen gezien).
