At least two explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol in Crimea today, November 21, around noon, according to RFE/RL.

Residents of Sevastopol, captured by the Russian occupiers, heard the first explosion in the central part of the city. It happened after about 12:15 p.m.

Later there was another explosion. At the same time, the interventionists did not announce an air alert in Sevastopol.

"And another explosion was heard in the city, reports the correspondent," the agency says.

The message notes that although the alarm was not declared in the city, posts "about missile danger in Crimea" appeared on Russian Telegram channels.

Further explosions
After these two, there were other explosions in Sevastopol. According to Krymskyi veter, there were at least five of them.

The Washington Post reported in October that according to obtained audio and video recordings, Kremlin-connected tycoon Musaev claimed he is acquiring Forbes with Russell serving as the "face" of the deal.

"I just bought global Forbes," Musaev allegedly told one of his associates.

"You understand when you have in your hands the key to the most authoritative global brand, this key will give me access to anyone."

Both Musaev and Russell denied the Russian oligarch's connection to the sale in their comments to the Post.

Musaev is the president and founder of the Global Venture Alliance (GVA) investment fund.

He has previously served in the Moscow city government. Musaev holds influential connections in Russia through his father-in-law, Ramazan Gadzhimuradovich Abdulatipov, the former head of the Republic of Dagestan.

Through his father-in-law, Musaev also reportedly entered the close circle of oligarch Suleiman Kerimov, who is connected to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov.

At the same time, according to Breton, “the problem lies in the situation with contracts in general,” as about 40% of production is delivered outside Europe to third countries.

Thierry Breton has suggested that for the entire quantity of produced ammunition to be delivered to Ukraine, EU member states must prioritize Ukrainian needs in their production schedules. However, he noted that the EU Council has not endorsed this proposal. Additionally, he mentioned that EU countries are currently not signing a sufficient number of contracts for shell production.

“We are building the European defense market step by step. Signing contracts will allow us to accelerate our deliveries to Ukraine,” Breton emphasized.

According to him, production is accelerating, and the EU can quickly create additional capacity, but political will must come first for supplies to Ukraine.

Earlier, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell proposed the same redirection of ammunition exports to Ukraine.

The diplomat added that, while in other cases Budapest abstained during key voting and let the EU impose sanctions against Russia, this time "I don’t see it happening".

"It’s not a matter of neutrality for Hungary," said the envoy. "It’s about leverage."

Since Hungary is increasing tension and threatens to sabotage the EU leaders’ summit in December, some countries are already contemplating ways to work around Budapest and keep aid flowing to Kyiv.

Kremlevskaya Tabakerka reported on Tuesday morning that arsenic and rat poison were allegedly added to the food at some point, either at the restaurant or during delivery, in doses large enough to be lethal.

“The restaurant where the food and alcohol were delivered was searched, and no traces of poisons were found. At the same time, the courier who delivered the food and alcohol disappeared without a trace,” the report says.

In addition, a “mysterious detail” of the murder is that two of the three dead FSB agents launched an investigation last week into the case of the grave of Russian Black Sea Fleet sailors that was recently found in Melitopol.

Russian public media reported that the unknown sailors were buried in September. According to the examinations, the Russians died from explosions. A number of the bodies contained characteristic fragments of Western missiles used by the Ukrainian army. Many of the bodies were severely mutilated.

Later on Tuesday, Nov. 21, Ivan Fedorov, the mayor-in-exile of Melitopol, confirmed it to be the work of the Ukrainian underground on a Ukrainian television broadcast.

According to Fedorov, the Russians are being eliminated not only by explosions and air strikes but also by resistance forces using various means.

“The other day, there was another group of eliminated enemies, namely poisoned ones,” Fedorov said. “Enemy Telegram channels are even writing about it – they ordered food in a cafe and after eating it, they all got poisoned, and some of them died.”

“This is the effective resistance that continues to be exerted in Melitopol even under occupation.”

It’s unclear how the bodies of the 17 sailors, who logically should have been in Crimea, ended up in far away Melitopol. It’s also unclear whether the dead were sailors or were just wearing the uniform.

Balazeikin has already served nine months in pre-trial detention.
