Dat bericht van die pauze is al een paar dagen oud maar juist in de afgelopen dagen zijn ze op meer verschillende plekken weer aan het aanvallen (bijvoorbeeld weer rond Bakhmut) dan een week geleden.

A major factor in why Russia invaded Ukraine in the first place is because it was basically a terminally ill country regardless. It's experiencing natural population decline like Japan and s.korea, but unlike EU counties it can't attract enough immigrants to fill in the gap for obvious reasons.

The Russian military has foiled a Ukrainian drone raid on Moscow Region, the Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, adding that the attack did not result in any casualties or damage.

In a statement, the ministry said that Kiev attempted to stage a “terrorist attack” on the region’s facilities, which involved three aircraft-type drones. “All UAVs have been suppressed by electronic warfare means; as a result, they lost control and crashed down,” it added.

Earlier in the day, Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of Moscow Region, said that in the early hours of Wednesday, two unidentified drones fell near the settlement of Kalinetz, around 30km southwest of the Russian capital. He claimed that the aircraft were approaching warehouses of one of the army units in the area and were taken down by the military.
