Jim Steinman is dan ook meer een theater man. Vrijwel alle nummers komen uit musicals van zijn hand. Total Eclipse komt uit Tanz der Vampire. No Matter What uit Whistle down the wind. Zo heeft hij ook gewerkt aan een Batman musical. Toen die niet door ging belanden veel nummers op Bat 3.
