Polls zijn op het moment niet zo belangrijk, belangrijker is dat veel kiezers nu beseffen wat voor een slechte management er nu van het het Witte Huis komt. Daar hebben de kiezers natuurlijk in de eerste plaats voor gekozen, goede management. En Trump laat zich niet sturen. Ook de zelfisolatie van deze president baart ze zorgen. Konden presidenten voorheen de senaat wel porren om een wet te maken die door beide partijen werden gesteund, Trump is tot die dingen niet in staat. Hij werkt niet samen. Dus is Mitch McConnell met al zijn persoonlijke en partijbelangen diegene die dit moet doen. Met alle gevolgen van dien. Je kunt geen politiek bedrijven als er niet aan wetten kan worden geschaafd door een oppositie.quote:

Mag ik je vandaag weer eens irriteren?
Polls zijn wel belangrijk omdat ze Trump dwingen ook in normaal rode staten aan damage control te doen. Biden heeft Texas waarschijnlijk niet op de moet-winnen-lijst staan. Trump zeker wèl.
Dat is wel lastig: Als Trump daar zwaar aan de bak gaat geeft dat aan dat hij het fout heeft gedaan volgens veel Texanen. Doet hij niks pakt Biden die staat. Win-win voor Biden.
