But Reynold Poernomo has revealed the popular cooking competition hasn't helped him land a full-time job in the kitchen.
'I had to chase work up myself,' he told the latest edition of TV WEEK.
The 21-year-old told the publication he hasn't 'had any solid work just yet' despite spending a month in an unpaid job at Sydney restaurant, Gastro Park.
At the well-known establishment, Reynold worked alongside gourmet chef Grant King, who he had met whilst competing on the cooking show.

Earlier in the series, the young chef came under fire when it was revealed his mother was the owner of dessert restaurant Art Plate in Sydney's inner west, and his older brother Arnold was a judge on the Indonesian version of MasterChef.
