Prachtig, maar zonder het Islamitische regime maar met een seculiere regime(niet het Shahregime) zou Iran het nog veel en veel beter doen. Het probleem is, dat de Ayatollah-dictators de revolutie een islamitische draai hebben gegeven, terwijl de revolutie een veel beter uitkomst kon hebben.quote:

Mij gaat 't erom dat de Revolutie geen islamitische moest zijn. Daarom zeg ik dat Iran in de top 5 kon staan ipv top 20, daarmee bedoel ik niet dat ze toentertijd in de top 5 stonden, maar dat er meer uit de revolutie gehaald kon worden.quote:

Five civilians injured by terrorist rockets on Damascus countryside, Homs
quote:Five civilians were injured after terrorists launched rockets on al-Wafideen camp and Harasta subrub in Damascus Countryside on Tuesday.
A Police source told SANA that terrorists targeted al-Wafideen Camp with five shells, causing the injury of five citizens and material damage to the private properties.
The source added that terrorists also launched a rocket on Harasta area, north of Damascus, adding that the shell caused only material damage.
In Homs, two civilians were injured by terrorist shells launched on al-Muhajirin neighborhood in Homs city.
A source in the governorate told SANA that the shells also caused material damage to a number of houses in the area.
Terrorists also targeted Ekrima neighborhood in Homs city with a rocket shell, causing material damage in the area.
SANA reporter in Homs said that the shell landed near Faeq Mohamed School in the residential neighborhood, causing material damage only.
On twenty one of January, six civilians were killed and tens others were wounded due to a terrorist car bomb attack in al-Hadara Street in the same neighborhood.

Zware klappen in Douma vandaag. Ik meende dat Douma grotendeels gevacueerd was maar schijnbaar zijn er nog veel mensen achtergebleven. Deze mensen gaan allemaal dood of er moet nog een evacuatieronde komen.

President al-Assad receives letter from President of Belarus expressing support for Syria

During the meeting, President al-Assad asserted that the terrorism which is beginning to strike in a number of countries requires an international effort and true will to deal with it, affirming that Syria will continue its war on terrorism in parallel with carrying out national dialogue and reconciliations on the ground.
President al-Assad noted that some Western states have an issue with states that have independent decision-making, which is why they pressure them using various methods, and this requires that these independent states support each other and cooperate to bolster their strength and realize their peoples’ will to preserve their sovereignty and prevent foreign interference in their internal affairs.
For his part, Makei said that Belarus supports the course taken by Syria for restoring security and stability to its territories, and that his country is committed to supporting the Syrian people and bolstering their steadfastness.

Makei noted that several states have changed their opinions about what is happening in Syria, and now they believe in the need for finding a solution for the crisis that limits the suffering of Syrians and curbs the risks of terrorism spreading in the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem, Presidential Political and Media Advisor Bouthaina Shaaban, Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister Ayman Sousan, the director of the Europe department at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry, and the Ambassador of Belarus in Syria.
