De interviewer vraagt vervolgens niet hoe je dan wel een stad zuivert van rebellen, zonder de bevolking kapot te maken (Grozny?). Rusland wast zijn handen in onschuld. Ik wist niet dat ze dit nog deden, de media optrommelen om naar een grenspost te kijken. Vanuit het idee dat je op iedere moment aan een checkpoint kan zien of er wapens langs gekomen zijn. Wel een duidelijke indicatie dat Rusland zich niet zal bemoeien met met de verdere afhandeling.
