Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.
Heeft iemand al een pre-order staan? Ben nog aan het twijfelen...

I've had the chance to play a build of this game 1 year ago, that looked 10 times better than it does now believe it or not.
They had the game to the point where it looked and acted amazing and by amazing I mean much shittier than gta5 but 1000 times better than what it will come out today.
There was so much shit that you could do in the game that has been cut off to fit the memory of the "new gen" consoles.
They actually cut so much stuff from every corner, that at one point they realized they cut too much and had to start reintegrating shit back into the game under different forms, most of them very limited in detail.
1 month ago, the game was so incredibly fucked up, cut and glued back together that ubisoft had to urgently hire a team of .plan assistants and perform some sort of documentation and archeology on the shit ubisoft had, just to be able to puzzle all the shit together without leaving out important things.
They invested over 20 million dollars in fixing bugs just in the last TWO MONTHS ALONE!
I can't provide any of my sources but whoever wants to take my word for it, can chose to do it, I have no interest in spreading rumors.
It's what I know from the inside through a direct real life friend that works there.

They really did have a great game to begin with but it took 16gb of the fastest ddr3 memory to run it at 40-50 fps on pc and on xbox one it didn't even start for a long while...
They had to use huge ass xbox one dev kits to start it and debug it.
I don't know the story of the ps4 one but I do know that the Wii U has been put on ice because they had a unique build for that game and they required the help of the whole team on wii u to get the shit sorted out on PC, PS4 and XBONE.
The wii u, won't even have mp if I recall correctly.
Not sure if that was announced publicly.

Watch Dogs: 10 New Confirmed Facts
YouTube user silentc0re has watched all of Ubisoft's recent Watch_Dogs podcasts and has relayed all of the key information he's gathered so you don't have to.
First up, Chicago was chosen by Ubisoft because it's one of North America's most watched cities with thousands of networked cameras throughout.
The developers have done everything they can to ensure that all of the game's hacks are realistic and that players will choose how far they want to go in the game, what they want to hack, and how they want to make money. They added the vigilante aspect of Watch_Dogs is mainly left up to player choice.
One interesting feature is that if you hack someone's phone to listen into their conversation, that chat will then be deleted from the game so you won't hear it again.
There's over 3,000 character kits and Ubisoft says it's unlikely that you'll bump into the same NPC twice and between 400 and 500 lines have been recorded by each citizen.
They also discussed profiling and how certain character traits will be determined by where people lived, all of which will be randomly generated.
Ubisoft says there will be severe consequences if players choose to shoot police officers and while a lot of cops will chase, the best strategy is to flee.
NPCs will react dynamically to in-game events. For example, if there's a car crash they'll stop to take pictures with their phones or if you pull your gun out in a restaurant, they'll hide under the tables.
Watch_Dogs has only two recycled animations with everything else being built from scratch, both recycled animations come from Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and are the swimming motion, and bodies flying through the air respecitvely.
There's no jump button in the game, animation director, Colin Graham, says "a jump button isn't necessary since Aiden will jump and climb it automatically." [Source]
Finally, the weather will be varied with large storms and lots of winds affecting the city which will respond dynamically to the weather conditions.

Dat gezaag over Uplay vind ik ook fameus overdreven. Op steam hebben ze dan niks tegen, terwijl het hetzelfde principe is. Ja ok, Steam heeft misschien meer opties, ma Uplay werkt zoals het moet, de downloadspeed is ok (beetje trager dan steam maar niet veel), en de support is over het algemeen goed (al vrij veel gecontacteerd en altijd goed antwoord gekregen).
Vergelijk dat met Origin, dat nog altijd bij mij in het Frans adverteert ondanks dat mijn taal in het Nederlands staat...Om van hun helpdesk met onderbetaalde indiers nog maar te zwijgen

Ik ben op zich geen fan van DRM, maar dit soort (aanhoudend) gezeur snap ik helemaal niet, want inderdaad... Steam werkt gewoon volgens hetzelfde principe en daar lopen ze niet (zo) over te zeiken!quote:
