Season 3 will begin shooting this spring for a fall premiere.
After months of delay, HBO announced on Monday that Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom has finally been renewed. Season 3 will be its last.
Sorkin, who worked tirelessly on the cable news drama’s first two seasons, was busy writing his adaptation of Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs autobiography. He has, apparently, turned that in, and can now focus on bringing the story of Will McAvoy, the popular news anchor who begins speaking truth-to-power, to a close.
Jeff Daniels won an Emmy for his portrayal of McAvoy in September. The show was still in limbo then, despite his having tweeted otherwise earlier in the month when he wrote that the show’s renewal was “official.” At the time, his tweet caused confusion; HBO issued a statement saying they were “excited” about a third season, and were having “conversations with Aaron about schedules.”
HBO’s press release Monday also said that Paul Lieberstein (a writer from The Office who is perhaps best known as Toby from The Office) will be an executive producer in Season 3. The show’s second season was nine episodes; HBO did not say how many there will be in The Newsroom’s final run.

The big bang theory, raising hope, neighbours, last man standing, how i met your mother, 2 and a half men, super fun night, the millers. Allemaal zijn in een zin uit te leggen. Alleen parcs en community zijn wat moeilijker.
Ik ben er na een aflevering of 10 mee gestopt en dat doe ik niet snel. Kijk zelfs nog Episodes en jezus dat is ook slecht zeg! Maar dit kon me nóg minder boeien, helaas.quote:

Fox Show were notably absent from the network’s prime-time lineup hype reel. Most recently, the two comedies only earned a mere .7 rating in 18-49 during a special showing on Jan. 23.
