Mike Conway rijdt aankomend weekend voor Dale Coyne de doubleheader van Toronto. Zowel zaterdag als zondag om 21.00 uur Nederlandse tijd. Ook zal hij de doubleheader van Houston rijden op 5 en 6 oktober.

Pippa Mann zal de afsluitende race op Fontana (de laatste oval) rijden voor Dale Coyne. Wie de overige races rijdt is nog niet bekend.

Vanaf volgend jaar mag er alleen met twin-turbo's gereden worden. Dat betekent dat Honda zijn motor moet aanpassen.

Luca Filippi vervangt Tagliani in Mid-Ohio volgende week.. Hij zal eerst op 31 juli nog voor BHA testen op hetzelfde circuit. Ook JR Hildebrand wordt genoemd als coureur voor BHA dit seizoen. Doel is om potentiele coureurs voor 2014 te evalueren. Tagliani blijft onder contract van het team maar komt waarschijnlijk niet meer in actie dit seizoen.

Silly Season in de Indycars is nu echt losgebarsten.

Ganassi heeft sponsors voor een 4de auto en meerdere gegadigden. Genoemd worden onder andere Hinchcliffe (Target zou een Canadees willen), Kanaan en Juan Pablo Montoya, die weg gaat bij Ganassi in de NASCAR. Montoya wordt ook genoemd bij Andretti, die wel 7 auto's kan laten rijden met alle coureurs die genoemd worden. Dallara zou Alguersuari in de Indycar willen zien en Panther wordt genoemd als team.

Vanavond om 20.30 Nederlandse tijd de IndyCar race van Baltimore.

En het lijkt een herhaling van Sonoma te worden, daar waar het gaat om de strijd tussen Dixon en Power, want beiden starten vanaf de eerste rij. Gevolgd door Pagenaud en Wilson op de tweede rij.

Naast dit gevecht zal er vanavond voldoende spektakel zijn, alleen al om de chicane bij de tramrails op het rechte stuk. Deze heeft in de trainingen en kwalificatie al slachtoffers gemaakt en zorgde ervoor dat de ALMS race van gisteren ingekort werd door een startcrash.
