Nou dat zegt niet veel. Ik had ook zelf dat gekeken en ergens in seizoen 1 afgehaakt. HBO renewed the vampire series for another season of sex, blood-sucking, humor and tons of suspense, set to debut in the summer of 2014.

Buckner will return as showrunner for Season 7 of "True Blood." No word yet on the fate of the show's long list of stars, including Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Carrie Preston, Alexander Skarsgård, Anna Camp, Deborah Ann Woll, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Joe Manganiello.
"'True Blood' remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers," Michael Lombardo, HBO's president of programming, said in a statement. "Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV."

Tja, sommige mensen houden ervan om gewone tv te kijken. Ik snap het ook niet eigenlijk. Een vriend van ons kan een hele avond zappen, eigenlijk elke dag wel. Dan kijkt 'ie overal een stukje van. Vindt hij leuk. Hij heeft wel een of andere geweldige upc box ofzo die complete seizoenen voor hem bewaart. Daar betaalt hij dan ook flink voor geloof ik, ook omdat hij het meest uitgebreide zenderpakket heeft.
Hij hecht er ook geen waarde aan om complete tv-series van A tot Z te kijken. Hij ziet wel welke ep hij kijkt. Compleet onbegrijpelijk voor mij want ik ben echt een obsessieve serie kijker en verzamelaar. Ik ben nu oude series die ik al gezien heb aan het downloaden want een van mijn harde schijven waarop ik mijn 400 series ( ) bewaar heeft het begeven. Gelukkig hou ik netjes bij wat op welke schijf staat en weet ik dus precies wat ik nu mis

Starz's "Magic City" has been canceled, the network confirmed Monday. The August 9 Season 2 finale will now serve as the series finale.
Created by Mitch Glazer, "Magic City" starred Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Ike Evans, the owner of the glamorous Miramar Playa hotel in Miami. Set against the political backdrop of 1959, with Fidel Castro taking control of Cuba, the show explored a web of mobsters, law enforcement officials and hotel staff through the lens of the Evans family.
“'Magic City’ will be concluding its two-season run on Starz with Friday's series finale. We are tremendously proud of the series and everyone involved,” Starz said in a statement. “From the writers, to the cast and crew, it has been an incredible collaboration. This was a story born from Mitch Glazer’s singular vision of Miami, the Magic City of his childhood, and we are grateful to him for bringing it to life on Starz. The season’s story arc will allow us to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the series, and we thank all the fans who checked in to the Miramar Playa.”
Although the show boasted a high-profile guest turn by James Caan in Season 2 and earned Danny Huston a Golden Globe nomination for his turn as the villainous Ben Diamond in Season 1, it failed to catch on with viewers or critics.

De continue aanwezigheid van die klootzak Randy, die elke 10 minutes binnen komt lopen en dan onmiddelijk aandacht eist voor zijn eigen onbenullige problemen is echt een molensteen om de nek van deze serie, die een stuk beter zou kunnen zijn. Nu is er zo weinig tijd over voor de misdaad van de week dat je bijna meteen ziet aankomen hoe het zit. De humor lijkt ook bijna verdwenen, of je moet Provenza die met een rare bril zijn schiettest gaat doen grappig vinden.quote:

Ben niet helemaal bij met Major Crimes, maar wat ik er van gezien heb is het inderdaad net iets minder dan The Closer, maar dat zegt meer over hoe geweldig The Closer was. The rain-drenched police drama launched in 2011 to 2.7 million viewers and a 2.0 household rating, while Season 3 opened to 1.8 mil/1.4.

'The IT Crowd' to return for one-off final episode later this month. The last ever episode of The IT Crowd is to air on Channel 4 at the end of this month (September).
Created by Graham Linehan, one half of the duo behind Father Ted, the office-set sitcom debuted on Channel 4 in 2006 and ran for four series. In May of this year Linehan announced he had locked down plans to revive the show for a special one-off finale and filming got underway later that month. Original stars Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson and Matt Berry have all returned for the final episode.
Now Linehan has used Twitter to reveal that the finale is due to air on Channel 4 very shortly.
The last episode will have a slightly longer 40-minute running time and Linehan apparently wrote the script over a year ago, but filming was held up by the cast members' busy schedules.
Since the last series of the The IT Crowd, O'Dowd has appeared in Hollywood comedies such as Bridesmaids and This Is 40 and Ayoade wrote and directed hit British indie flick Submarine. Meanwhile, Parkinson has appeared in Sherlock and Berry recently guested on an episode of Portlandia.
