In a press release about the primetime Saturday night talent show's social media strategy, the premiere date was confirmed. However, the BBC still maintains that no official launch date has been set.
Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Tom Jones are the coaches in the reality series, which features blind auditions and battle stages before reaching live shows.
The winner of The Voice UK will land a record contract with Universal.
Holly Willoughby and Radio 1's Reggie Yates are hosting the series, which BBC One controller Danny Cohen reportedly spent over £20 million to secure for the broadcaster after a battle with ITV over the rights.
All four judges and the hosts will be at a Central London launch event tomorrow.

quote:Will the BBC lose some of its star Voices? Beeb bosses admit programme needs overhaul to beat BGT in ratings war
By Sara Nathan
It was launched amid great fanfare and briefly managed to beat ITV rival Britain’s Got Talent in the ratings war. But following a huge slump in audience figures, BBC bosses have admitted the next series of singing competition The Voice will undergo a huge overhaul.
None of the four celebrity coaches – Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue – has yet signed up for it, and the Daily Mail has been told their contracts include only an option to return for a second series.
Ratings dipped to below 6million on Saturday night’s live show as the BGT final peaked at 14.5million. An average of 5.9million, with a peak of 6.4million, tuned in. The peak for Sunday’s results show was 6.5million, a far cry from the ratings high of 11million on April 21.
Last night a show source said: ‘This series has been a test run, as it were. It is a matter of seeing what has worked and what hasn’t. There will be changes – it definitely won’t be the same. Obviously, there were issues like the pre-recorded results show, which seemed to take away the drama of the series, so don’t be surprised if there is a live results show next year.
‘As for the coaches, they have only signed an option to appear on series two next year. This works both ways, though: If we don’t want them back, we don’t have to have them back. At the moment, we don’t know who will be back next year.’
Jessie J has admitted she does not watch the show, and last week told a magazine she regretted being the first celebrity to announce their decision to appear on The Voice, saying: ‘When Tom Jones said he waited until he knew the line-up, I thought I should have, too.’
Coming back? Will.i.am (left) and Sir Tom Jones (right) have not yet signed up for a second series, nor have their fellow judges Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that an average of 11.9 million people watched the final of Britain's Got Talent - more than double 5.64 million that watched The Voice.
ITV have announced that the final was the most-watched programme of 2012 so far, beating the 11.2 million who tuned in to watch an episode of Coronation Street back in January.
