Er zijn verschillende invullingen te geven voor wat een stonerfilm nou precies is, maar volgens wikipedia:
Dit lijkt me een goed uitgangspunt, maar wat mij betreft ligt hier niet per se de grens. Als iedereen Clerks een ideale stonerfilms vindt (ondanks dat het amper over wiet gaat) moet die uiteraard gewoon genomineerd worden. Blow en Spun gaan ook over drugs (en dus soms ook om wiet) maar zijn nou niet echt stonermovies binnen deze definitie. 2001: A Space Oddysey kan ook heel mooi zijn als je hebt geblowed, maar ook zulke films vallen hier niet onder.
Ik kan niet van elke film controleren/bepalen of ze wel of geen stoner movies zijn, dus als een film vaak genoeg is genomineerd speelt hij gewoon mee. Probeer gewoon deze richtlijnen in je achterhoofd te houden als je een film nomineert.
De welbekende regels:
• Nomineer en ondersteun je favoriete films. Drie nominaties per film om hem mee te laten spelen.
• Knock-out-rondes tot en met de finale, waar in de beste stonerfilm wordt gekozen

Dude, Where's My Car is een persoonlijke favoriet maar dat komt omdat ik die tegelijk met wiet ontdekte en er dus goede herinneringen aan heb
. Smiley Face is de eerste/enige(?) stonerfilm met een meisje als hoofdpersoon dus op zich wel eens leuk ter afwisseling, maar als hij hier al doorheenkomt denk ik niet dat 'ie de achtste finales gaat overleven.The Breakfast Club is imo geen stonerfilm, wel een erg goede klassieker dus sowieso de moeite waard.

Nee, het is geen comedy zoals de rest in de lijst. Het is een heerlijk relaxte film over tieners uit verschillende jaren van een high-school die een avond met drank en wiet beleven, waarbij de verschillende groepen elkaar steeds kruisen en verhaallijnen zich mengen. heerlijke film.. Hier mijn reactie uit het welke film heb je gekeken topic:
Dazed & Confused
Naar aanleiding van dit toernooi deze highschool komedie gaan kijken en erg genoten van de relaxte sfeer. Een verhaal is er niet behalve dat er verschillende groepjes, van de stoere t/m de sukkels, gevolgd worden na hun laatste schooldag/avond/nacht in het jaar '76. Niet super hilarisch maar de belevenis van de laatste schooldag op een high-school wordt op een dusdanige manier weergegeven dat het heerlijk wegkijkt. De film is uit '93 en we zien een jonge Matthew McConaughey en Ben Affleck in bijrollen. Aanrader als feelgoodfilm, niet als hilarische komedie in de stijl van harold & kumar ofzo

Als Clerks II net zo is als Clerks snap ik die keus ook niet. Van het weekend gezien maar vond het niet echt boeiend. Maar ik was ook niet 100% high, meer een voorzichtige 60%quote:
