kun je het de UFC echt niet kwalijk nemen.
Over 19 dagen staat het event geland en je kunt op dit niveau echt geen betere match-up maken zoals hij er nu staat [Jackson vs. Hamill]
Daarnaast vraag ik me af of mij 2 voorgaande berichten met elkaar te maken hebben
De UFC is namelijk al 3 jaar bezig om dit op poten te zetten. Het is namelijk niet iets wat elke verzekeraar aan durft, aangezien het zeer hoge risico's betreft. De premie zal dan ook niet weinig zijn. Ze hebben het nu eindelijk rond en het valt ongelukkig samen met het uitvallen van de 2 titelkandidaten.

Ik vond hem in zijn debuut (de eerste 2 rondes) echt heel goed, hem vs thiago alves/silva (kan allebei) was nice geweest.
Ik had ook gelezen (titel) dat Chael Sonnen weer gezeik heeft met de athletic commision? Iemand die daar iets van weet?

So if you have been keeping up with The Ultimate Fighter this season you know that Team dos Santos wrestling coach Lew Polley and Junior have been butting heads.
In a new interview with Team dos Santos fighter Ramsey Nijem, he gives some insight into the beef.
PRO MMA NOW: What are your thoughts on this beef between Coach Lew Polley and Junior?
RAMSEY NIJEM: It’s all kind of dumb because I feel like sometimes Lew wants to be there just to kind of get his name out there and make a name for himself as a fighter and coach and stuff like that. You know it’s Junior’s game so Junior should have the last say in it and Lew was kind of undermining him and I was disagreeing with some of the things Lew said. But in the end it’s Junior’s team and if he doesn’t want to be on board, you know, he shouldn’t be there.
PRO MMA NOW: So was that something you guys noticed, could you see that Lew was overstepping his bounds or disrespecting Junior in any way?
RAMSEY NIJEM: Yeah, I mean it was kind of obvious when Junior would say one thing and Lew would say something else, or Lew would try to run practice and Junior would have to come in and change up the practice and stuff like that because… We obviously caught on and we knew what was going on. It was just kind of awkward sometimes between them having a little bit of animosity. But we just had to train or whatever so we tried not to focus on it.
PRO MMA NOW: There was a video released with Lew talking about it and he had some pretty harsh things to say about Junior, did you see that?
RAMSEY NIJEM: No I haven’t seen it, but I kind of see him on his blog, he’s been bad-mouthing Junior and all his coaches and it’s actually really disrespectful because the only person out of the coaching staff that I felt was there to make a name for themselves was Lew. And he says, “Oh I’m here for the fighters and I care about the fighters and I’m not here to be popular.” But it was the complete opposite. Lew was there for the cameras and he would do things when the cameras were around to get noticed and he would tell coach Billy, our striking coach, to go for the cameras. And coach Billy is a family man, he coaches his guys. He doesn’t want to be famous, he doesn’t want to be on TV, and I feel like that’s what Lew wants to do. You can tell by his blogging, his Twitter and all the stuff he’s trying to get his little 15 minutes of fame.

I know that for a fact because he wants to be in the UFC but his problem is he doesn’t have the greatest record and he beats like no-names but he will always lose to tougher guys and he’s kind of a boring fighter cause he just tries to hold people down and control them. So, he’s going to have to change some things if he wants to be a good fighter or in the UFC. But I guarantee you if he had the chance to be on The Ultimate Fighter he would, as a fighter.

ik denk juist dat de kans heel groot is dat dit gevecht een decision wordt. Lytle is praktisch niet te finishen, en Hardy heeft sowieso niet veel finishing power. Hardy is sneller, dus zou een decision kunnen winnen. Aan de andere kant kan Lytle hem heel goed submitten, maar ik denk niet dat hij het initiatief neemt het naar de grond te laten gaan (en Hardy zal dat helemaal niet doen).quote:

I’ve been able to maintain it to a point where it’s tolerable, and I was able to go through two training camps. I’ve been dealing with some symptoms over the last three months, and during the course of this training camp, I felt another infection and got a CT scan done on my stomach, where there was visible inflation. It didn’t allow me to train to my full capabilities, and I was forced to make a decision to go back down to the doctor this week to figure out how far this thing was along. It’s not as serious as last time. It just didn’t allow me to train the way I needed to train for a number one contender’s bout. I am forced with the decision to either have surgery or to deal with this for the rest of my life. So I’m fighting a different fight here. It was a hard decision (to pull out of the fight), I’m choked up about it, but there’s nothing I can do.”
Stepping in for Lesnar to face dos Santos on the June 11th event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada will be Carwin, the former interim UFC heavyweight champion. Carwin was originally scheduled to face Jon Olav Einemo on the UFC 131 card.
“Junior is a serious fight and not the type of fight that you would normally take on a 30 day notice but I have a dream to chase and I do not have a lot of time to chase it,” wrote Carwin on a blog on his website Shane-Carwin.com. “This is an opportunity to put myself in contention for the title. I know my Coaches will have me ready so I have everything to gain.”
Carwin also sent his best wishes to his former rival.
“I hope Brock is able to recover. I look forward to facing him again one day.”
That sounds just fine to Lesnar, who insists that we have not heard the last of him yet.
I’ll tell you one thing: I’m not retiring. This isn’t the end of my fight career. I have a strong faith that there’s a solution to every problem. I just gotta find the right solution to fix this problem. I love this sport and I love what I do. This isn’t the end of Brock Lesnar.”
Lesnar and dos Santos have been competing against each other as coaches on season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter reality series on Spike TV.

“Question: If you were so confident, then why fake a thumb injury?” Evans wrote. “[Because] just between me and y'all, he don't need surgery!”
Kawa asserts that Jones followed the proper procedure in receiving multiple medical opinions in cooperation with the UFC.
“For the record, every doctor [Jones] saw was a UFC-referred doctor,” Kawa wrote. “The very last one on the day before surgery thought against it.”
Regarding Jones' return to the cage, nothing has been announced as of yet. However, Kawa asserted that the champion will be medically cleared to fight after June 11 and could make his return by the end of the year.

Eerst Strikeforce, doet hij het goed dan wellicht terug naar de UFC.
De Snowman is een druk mannetje... heel veel gevechten gehad in 2010 en 2011 is ook al aardig wat ingepland. Hij wil zelf naar de LHW, gezien zijn lengte is dat niet verkeerd denk ik!
