Free Agents

Cast Hank Azaria (The Simpsons), Kathryn Hahn (Hung), Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Joe Lo Truglio (Reno 911!), and others
Plot Based on a UK series of the same name, this rom-com stars Azaria and Hahn as quirky PR execs who both are on the rebound but for very different reasons: He is a recent divorcé, and she just lost her fiancé. Head reprises his role from the UK version, as the duo's boss.

Awake stijgt er qua trailer en idee ver bovenuit als je het vergelijkt met de rest.

Het gaat me benieuwen of The Playboy Club wel geschikt is voor een netwerkzender als NBC. Persoonlijk denk ik dat NBC hier geen grote groep kijkers mee gaat trekken en redelijk snel in gevaar kan komen, zodra men een beeld heeft wat The Playboy Club allemaal heeft te bieden.
Het hangt er ook vanaf of NBC weer hoogmoedig wordt of meer realistisch blijft en series de kans geeft om een publiek op te bouwen.

Prime Suspect trailer beviel me wel. Vooral de interactie tussen de hoofdrolspelers.

Grimm is meer een recap van de eerste aflevering dan een trailer.

Ik kan uit bijna iedere pilot een afgeragde matige acteur vinden: Rachael Taylor, Kathryn Hahn, Kevin Dillon, David Hornsby, Jaime Pressly, Max Greenfield, David Krumholtz, Christina Applegate, James Van Der Beek, Krysten Ritter, Laura Prepon, Rebecca Mader.

Ik snap het wel omdat ze ervaring hebben enz maar wat fris talent zou ook wel eens fijn zijn.

Zitten ook genoeg nieuwkomers tussen, maar die zie je niet in de info, want die ken je toch niet. Je kent ze pas als ze doorbreken.

Ze kunnen wel neerzetten, nieuwe serie met Pietje Jansen, Geertje Visser en Trudie Achterberg, maar dat zegt ja niks.

Ik ga morgen eens de promo's kijken, aan alleen de beschrijvingen zie ik er niet zo 1-2-3 iets nieuws tussen zitten dat ik wil gaan volgen, wellicht dat de promo's dat wel kunnen.

Aangezien veel series afgelopen week hun season final hadden, vroeg ik me af of er deze week al pilots uitkomen?

Ik zal maar 2-3 nieuwe series echt een kans geven dit jaar omdat ik anders echt te veel kijk ^-^. Lijkt er op dat ik onderstaande series sowieso een kans wil geven :

- Revenge ( Emily van Camp )
- Heart of Dixie ( Rachel Bilson )
- The New Girl [ ziet er tof uit en ik heb een zwak voor de Deschannel zusjes ^^ ]

En wellicht kijk ik de pilots wel van onderstaande series ; maar als ik het leuk vind kijk ik het gewoon in de zomer van 2012 :

- Apartment 23
- Scandal
- Alcatraz
- En ik dacht dat Terra Nova ook begon ergens dit jaar, of pas volgend jaar..

En dan hopen dat er volgend jaar mei wat meer series die ik volg worden afgerond. The Closer en One Tree Hill zijn dan in ieder geval officieel ge-eindigt aangezien het officieel is verkondigd dat voor beide series nog een laatste seizoen volgt ; maar ik denk dat er daarnaast nog wel 2-4 series wegvallen.

Die middelste.......... wtf.......

Ik heb de trailers bekeken en er zit nergens iets tussen van ... wauw ... dat lijkt me wel gaaf. Awake had de beste trailer, maar ik vermoed dat dat een show wordt die binnen 5 afleveringen gecancelled wordt en het plot ligt er al zo dik bovenop. De enige serie waar ik echt potentie in zie is Person of Interest, ik twijfel echter of dat ik dat ga volgen (sowieso wel even de hele pilot kijken als ie uit is). Wellicht nog Scandal of Charlie's Angels (al is het wel erg zoetsappig allemaal), maar dan houdt t ook wel op.

Ohja Homeland over het hoofd gezien, samen met Alcatraz de enige series die mij wel nieuwsgierig maken. Damian Lewis is een van de meest ondergewaardeerde acteurs, fenomenale acteur gewoon.

GRIMM tegenover én Fringe én Supernatural... Moet je durven...

Ik zie weinig echt interessante series behalve alcatraz en terra nova, maar die kende ik al een poosje.

Zo, vandaag maar even de trailers van NBC bekeken...

De gedachte achter de serie Awake vind ik wel een boeiende... Maar ik ben bang dat de Amerikanen het niks vinden en de serie al in een vroeg stadium zal sneuvelen...

Prime Suspect zou ook wel eens interessant kunnen zijn, alhoewel ik de trailer nogal eenzijdig en overtrokken 'mannen tegen vrouwen' vond...

Ben toch ook wel erg benieuwd naar Grimm... Leuke genre, en legio mogelijkheden met al die sprookjes! Alhoewel ik benieuwd ben of het zich qua kwaliteit een beetje kan meten met Fringe en Supernatural... Ga iig zeker de pilot even bekijken...

En verder wel pilot waardig: Free Agents, en toch ook (ondanks de lachband *yek*) Whitney en Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea.
