Ik zie een stalemate niet als een mogelijkheid. In het 'rustigste' geval word het een vuile oorlog aan beide kanten met veel gebruik van terreur en guerrilla. Denk maar niet dat er ooit nog gaat worden geluisterd naar Gadhaffi's regime in bvb Misurata.quote:

Eye witness sources from within the city of Misrata have stated that many if not all members of the Warfala tribe that has traditionally sided with Gaddafi, have left the city of Sirt. The tribe had rejected Gaddafis request for them to stay in Sirt after they saw the Gaddafa tribe leaving Sirt themselves, among them the family that Gaddafi himself originates from. It is believed that the Warfala tribe constitutes half the population of Sirt and it is also believed that the tribe is heading to the town of Bani Waleed and other neighbouring towns. This report is in sync to a report from Reuters news group that stated that 50 blacked out military vehicles have left the city of Sirt on Sunday heading for the capitol.

A close friend of Iman Al-Obeidi has called an Arabic satellite news station today informing that the Iman has again been kidnapped by the Libyan authorities after she had gathered medical evidence of the assaults on her and was on her way to Tunisia to gain more freedom to speak to tell her story. It has also been reported that a local man that was impressed by her bravery has asked her parents for her hand in marriage.

Het kiezen van een kant is niet direct illegaal, het bombarderen van Gadhaffi troepen ook niet omdat deze degene zijn die geweld uitoefenen op burgers.quote:

BREGA Rebels says opposition fighters are retreating from the key oil port of Ras Lanouf along the coastal road leading to the capital after they came under heavy shelling from ground forces loyal to leader Moammar Gadhafi.
NATO planes lew over the zone of the heaviest fighting Wednesday and explosions were heard, indicating a new wave of airstrikes against Gadhafi's forces.
