Benghazi airport, niet echt in het midden v.d woestijn en er is daar gevochten volgens diverse berichten.quote:

Dit ziet er ook weer echt 'staged' uit. Midden in de woestijn zitten ze daar en dan zouden al die wapens van Qaddafi moeten zijn?

Alleen omdat iets niet kapot is kan je het nog wel achterlaten, bijv. omdat de brandstof op is of omdat je met een APC niet snel genoeg kan vluchten?
En ik zie op dat vliegveld honderden hulzen liggen, dat alleen al is bewijs dat er daar gevochten is.

France and allies consider no-fly zone around Libya
France hopes that Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi will soon quit power, Defence Minister Alain Juppé said Thursday. He said that the imposition of a no-fly zone around the crisis-hit country is being discussed but added that direct military intervention is not on the cards at the moment.
I hope with all my heart that Kadhafi is experiencing his last moments as head of state, Juppé said, declaring that a leader firing on his own people is obviously unacceptable.
