Sports Business Daily brings word that Versus has made plans to bring in an entirely new production crew in order to broadcast the upcoming event in 3D.
And don't call it a comeback but Todd Harris is reportedly set to do commentary for the show's 3D broadcast with a dieting Kenny Florian stepping in as color man.
Comcast, Cox, Verizon, Massillon Cable, Blue Ridge and Armstrong are the cable distributors currently signed on to deliver the historic broadcast.
That's not at the expense of the HD viewing pleasure; they also have a few plans for that, as well.

In addition to the regular broadcast, HD viewers will be treated to a split screen during commercials, in which they will air footage from the locker rooms and give air time to fighters during their respective entrances.

Ik weet niet zo goed wat ik van dat soort dingen moet denken. Voor de weigh-in staan ze rustig achter elkaar te wachten tot ze op moeten, maar als ze op het podium staan, kunnen ze opeens niet meer bij elkaar in de buurt zijn zonder agressief te worden.. Krijg daar een beetje een WWE-gevoel bij.

Ik vond Bisping bij de weigh ins echt fake aanvoelen zo gemaakt.. hij is "pissig" maar gaat eerst zijn flesje leeg drinken? Fighters are typically given a one-pound allowance for non-title fights and are given a second chance to make weight, usually within two hours of the initial weigh-ins. For title fights, there is no allowance.
Stateside, Daley has been earmarked for a title shot in Strikeforce against welterweight champion Nick Diaz if he can get past Shirai, the current DEEP welterweight champion.
All things considered, Alameddine said Daley was in decent spirits.
"He's all good," he said. "He's still looking forward to the fight."
BAMMA 5 takes place tomorrow at MEN Arena in Manchester, England, and will stream live on the promotion's website, BAMMAtv.com.
