The commentary goes on: It is also an intentional and premeditated plot to push the inter-Korean relations to total collapse and ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK in collusion with their U.S. and Japanese masters under the pretext of the ship case.


The ship case was an unprecedented charade crafted by the group of traitors keen on escalating confrontation.


The "investigation into the case" was nothing but a red herring as it was aimed to zealously spread a rumor about the "north's involvement in the case" and thus fan up atmosphere for extreme animosity toward fellow countrymen and confrontation with them among south Koreans of different circles and, at the same time, openly unleash a war of aggression against the DPRK in collusion with foreign forces under the pretext of what it called "security crisis".


A saying goes a club is fit for a mad dog. The army and people of the DPRK will never pardon the group of traitors getting hell-bent on confrontation and war, dare taking issue with fellow countrymen.


We do not know empty talk.


The reckless racket of the puppet forces will lead to a dirge of the traitorous clique.

Asked Tuesday whether she had succeeded in pushing China to change its views, Clinton replied: "We had very productive and detailed discussions about North Korea. The Chinese understand the gravity of the situation."

China has increasingly shown its assertiveness on issues in Asia. That stance, along with the increasing tension on the Korean Peninsula, could benefit the U.S. strategic position across the region, analysts say, as countries such as Japan and South Korea draw closer to Washington as a hedge against China's newfound strength. Even former U.S. enemies such as Vietnam and nonaligned states such as Malaysia, which for years had adopted a lukewarm view of the United States, have moved closer to Washington -- in part because of China's rise.

SEOUL - De Amerikaanse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, Hillary Clinton, heeft woensdag China opgeroepen het bewind in Noord-Korea onder druk te zetten. Ze zei dat woensdag tijdens een bezoek aan Seoul, de hoofdstad van Zuid-Korea.

Clinton kwam uit Peking, waar de VS en China eerder een tweedaags topoverleg voerden.

Antwoord
In gesprek met verslaggevers zei de Amerikaanse bewindsvrouw dat de torpedoaanval, waarbij de korvet Cheonan tot zinken werd gebracht en waarbij 46 opvarenden om het leven kwamen, een ''krachtig maar afgewogen'' antwoord vereist.
Noord-Korea moet volgens Clinton stoppen met provocaties en bedreigingen. Washington heeft volgens haar ''extra opties'' in overweging om Pyongyang verantwoording te laten afleggen voor het incident.

Nieuwe sancties
Dinsdag dreigde Noord-Korea alle banden met het zuiden te verbreken. China heeft tot kalmte gemaand en duidelijk gemaakt dat het tegenstander is van nieuwe sancties tegen Noord-Korea.
De Chinese onderminister van Buitenlandse Zaken Zhang Zhijun zei dat zijn land nog steeds evalueert wat er precies is gebeurd met het Zuid-Koreaanse schip.
Hij beklemtoonde dat de dialoog altijd beter is dan de confrontatie.
