Wat krijgen we nou?
Eens in de zoveel tijd duikt er op dit subforum een topic op, waarin de TS vraagt naar titels van ranzige, afschuwwekkende of enge films. Een ding hebben ze gemeen: ze zijn controversieel en zijn niet allemaal even gemakkelijk om te zien. Aan ons, FOK!kers, de taak om nu eens uit te maken wat de ziekste film allertijden is
.
De afbakening van een tournament als dit is wat lastig. Wat de een ziek vindt, vindt de ander weer reuze meevallen. Maar ik denk dat je de ziekste film wel kunt zoeken in de straatjes van bijvoorbeeld een Hostel, een Requiem for a Dream, een Eraserhead, een Cannibal Holocaust of de gezellige Pig Fucking Movie. Naarmate het tournament vordert, zullen de echt zieke films overblijven en de wil om te updaten ook verminderen denk ik zo
. Ik ben wel benieuwd wat de finale wordt. Zal het een ranzige smerige horrorfilm als Saw III zijn of toch iets intelligenters zoals RfaD of A Clockwork Orange?

Ik heb laatst zo'n film gezien, het ging over een groep jongeren die een docu willen maken over een oud gevangenis waar het spookt, en ze komen diamantrovers tegen, en iedereen behalve 2-3 lui worden op gruwelijke wijze gedood door spoken.
Ik ken de titel niet, maar als iemand weet welke film ik bedoel, wou ik die bij deze nomineren.

Ik ga Eden Lake maar eens kijken. Verder zijn de filmns die ik heb gezien die hier worden genoemd soms wel ranzig (Braindead, Hostel e.d.), maar dat maakt ze nog niet meteen ziek vind ik. Ziek vind ik bijvoorbeeld die beelden van die vlaamse voetballer van afgelopen week. Dat brrrr-gevoel heb ik nog niet echt bij een film gehad. Misschien omdat je toch altijd weet dat het niet echt is ofzo.
Goed topic. Canibal Holocaust kan ik nou niet echt hoog zetten. Er gebeuren wel ranzige dingen maar het is vooral een saaie film.. vind ik dan...

Nu SoK gestemd heeft, de uitslag! Salo wint overtuigend met 6-0 van Baise Moi.
Kwalitatief waren de films die meededen niet al te hoogstaand, ziek daarentegen wel! En daar ging het uiteindelijk ook allemaal om.

Ik denk dat zo'n film tegenwoordig trouwens niet eens meer gemaakt zou mogen worden, met al die kinderporno ophef enzo. Die acteurs in die film zijn denk ik niet eens allemaal 18 (?).

Het is maar wat je ziek vindt. Persoonlijk heb ik dat met films die een soort mindfuck zijn, waarbij je na de film nog even met Whoa, wat was dat gevoel zit, kortom een film die door je hoofd blijven spoken.
Dat had ik met bijvoorebeeld Martyrs en Eraserhead.
Films als Salo, die August films, Baise-moi vind ik eerder vrij goedkope en willekeurige aaneenschakelingen van stront, kots, sex, bloed en geweld zonder dat er al te veel achter zit en die doen me dus ook helemaal niets. Nou ja, vaak geeuwen, dat wel.

Het verhaal van het Franse Martyrs is verdeeld in twee delen.
Het eerste deel van de film gaat over Lucie, een meisje dat als kind gemarteld is. Over het waarom en hoe weten we tot dan toe niks, we krijgen wel flashbacks te zien van Lucie als klein meisje. Als klein meisje is ze ontsnapt uit de handen van haar martelaars en in het heden is ze bezig met wraak nemen op haar mogelijke ontvoerders van toen. Ze wordt geholpen Anna, een jonge vrouw waar ze vriendschap mee heeft gesloten vijftien jaar geleden na haar ontsnapping.
De tweede helft neemt een andere wending, een meer horror-achtige wending. Ik wil niet teveel weggeven want dat zou de plot teveel verklappen, maar de beelden zijn best aangrijpend en gruwelijk.
