Google Earth is tof, Google Earth is de hele aarde in satellietfoto\'s. En daar is uiteraard een leuk spel van te maken.
DE SPELREGELS
Maak een screenshot van een opvallende en/of bekende plek ergens op de wereld in Google Earth (of de webvariant ervan op Google Maps) en laat anderen raden wat er precies wordt getoond. Degene met het goede antwoord maakt een nieuwe opgave. Je mag zo ver inzoomen als je zelf wilt, maar hou het wel een beetje herkenbaar. Het is dus fair als je Noord boven laat op de foto.
De plaatser keurt de antwoorden goed of fout, niet naderhand je post editten!
We spelen in dit topic om punten. De punten worden na sluiting van het topic getelt en in de Wiki gezet.

The enormous structure is 29 m high and is 3.6 m wide at the base. Overlooking the river and the plains, it looks like the upper half of a gigantic, decorated Easter egg, with the spiral stairway winding around this monument, adding to its embellishment. It offers a magnificent breathtaking view of the city and the river Ganges, flowing nearby.
The spiral staircase was so designed, in order to facilitate the passage of the coolies, who had to carry grain-bags up one flight, deliver their load through a hole at the top, and descend the other stair.

Romaans (kerk), gotisch, renaissance en barok (het slot). Het portaal van de kerk is een nabootsing van dat in Ják. Rond de koepel staan vele beelden. Korinthische zuilen dragen de koepel. Tegenover de ingang van de kerk staat het bronzen beeld van Anonymus. Het is in 1903 door Miklòs Ligeti vervaardigd ter ere van een niet bekende schrijver uit de 12e en 13e eeuw, die vermoedelijk de eerste Hongaarse kroniek heeft geschreven. In het slot is een bouwkundig museum ondergebracht

Maizena bedankt voor de info, ik had moeite met de exacte lokatie, vond ook de verwijzing naar rue de Garennes, heb wat foto's en filmpjes op youtube bekeken, dacht dat het net buiten de bebouwing lag
ben er overigens een jaar of 10 geleden geweest, toen zaten ze vooral in een park in de stad, met vnl. slaapzakken (geen hutjes)

Covadonga
Covadonga is een parochie in de gemeente Cangas de Onís in Asturië. Het dorp maakt deel uit van een natuurgebied. De parochie ligt in het Nationale Park van de Picos de Europa (Spaans: Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa), beslaat ongeveer 2,5 km² en telt slechts 70 inwoners (2004). In de slag bij Covadonga versloeg koning Pelayo in 722 de Moren, waarmee de Reconquista begon. Het heiligdom, dat is opgedragen aan de Heilige Maagd van Covadonga is het meest bezochte monument in Asturië. In de Santa Cueva of Heilige Grot, bevindt zich een kapel met de afbeelding van de Heilige Maagd en tevens de graftombe van Don Pelayo. Volgens de overlevering zou Don Pelayo zich hier hebben schuil gehouden in zijn gevecht tegen de Saracenen. Covadonga
Covadonga is een parochie in de gemeente Cangas de Onís in Asturië. Het dorp maakt deel uit van een natuurgebied. De parochie ligt in het Nationale Park van de Picos de Europa (Spaans: Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa), beslaat ongeveer 2,5 km² en telt slechts 70 inwoners (2004). In de slag bij Covadonga versloeg koning Pelayo in 722 de Moren, waarmee de Reconquista begon. Het heiligdom, dat is opgedragen aan de Heilige Maagd van Covadonga is het meest bezochte monument in Asturië. In de Santa Cueva of Heilige Grot, bevindt zich een kapel met de afbeelding van de Heilige Maagd en tevens de graftombe van Don Pelayo. Volgens de overlevering zou Don Pelayo zich hier hebben schuil gehouden in zijn gevecht tegen de Saracenen.
