I don't think Britney is ready for a tour yet either. Tours are *always* an emotional rollercoaster, no matter who you are. How can anyone seriously be expected to go on one so soon after being in a psychiatric ward in hospital? Britney might think that she's ready, but I don't.

Britney Spears is in alle staten sinds een onafgewerkte versie van haar nieuwe single op het internet is gelekt. Het nummer 'You Are Nothing But A Womaniser' zou pas in november uitkomen, maar "honderdduizenden fans" hebben het al kunnen beluisteren op YouTube, waar het wordt aangeboden met beelden van de repetities.

"De bazen van Brinteys platenfirma bewegen hemel en aarde om het materiaal van het internet weg te halen. Het is niet goed van Britneys carrière als mensen de onafgewerkte versie te horen krijgen", aldus iemand uit de entourage van de zangeres.

Intussen vrezen vrienden van Britney dat de voorbereidingen op de release van het nieuwe album 'Circus' hun tol beginnen te eisen. Britney, die eerder dit jaar tot twee keer toe instortte, is naar verluidt "gevaarlijk veel" kilo's kwijt door de stress. "Britney werkt lange dagen om alles klaar te krijgen voor de release van 'Circus'. Het gaat te snel. Als ze niet eens stoom kan aflaten, zal deze comeback haar mentaal en fysiek onderuit doen gaan. Ze is hier gewoon niet klaar voor".

De platenfirma van Britney heeft besloten haar nieuw album eerder uit te brengen dan voorzien. Dat heeft alles te maken met haar succesvolle verschijning op de MTV Video Music Awards twee weken geleden, waar ze drie awards won.

The singer shot it yesterday at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant and Elevate Lounge in Los Angeles.

One witness tells Usmagazine.com it features plenty of "erotic" choreography. (According to a leaked copy of the single, lyrics include: "Boy don’t try to front / I know just what gets you off.")

Look back at all of Britney Spears' on-set looks.

In one scene, Spears (who wears tight, black leather pants and fake tattoos on her arms in the video) lies on a kitchen counter and later straddles and makes out with a man dressed in business suit.

The scene continues with Spears sucking on cherries or dangling them around her mouth, all while straddling and crawling all over the man, the witness says.

All the hot and heavy action didn't seem to faze Spears.

"She seems to be all business," the witness told Us. "She'd just do one thing after another and then on to the next."

Spears worked up a sweat - her black bob wig was rubbing off on her forehead, says the witness - and an appetite.

For lunch, she ate three pieces of cheese pizza.

"When she came out of the elevator, her assistant was already carrying an armful of clothes," said a fellow shopper in the shoe department. "I'd say she's definitely a fan of this place!

"Britney took a good long look at a pair of Christian Louboutin high heels ($575) and looked like she spent a long time weighing up whether she was going to buy a pair of knee-high black leather Fendi boots ($920), but decided against them in the end.

"She seemed pretty relaxed, twirling her hair around her fingers as she wandered around, checking out all the cute shoes. She looked like she was in her element!"

Brit finished up her spree in the cosmetics section, where she tried out a few different shades of lipstick before picking out just the right red, a Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited #190 ($23), plus their Nobara cream foundation #554 ($27).

Then she hopped back in her car and headed right back to her hotel -- without a single second-hand thong in sight.

And just when it looked like something pretty normal had finally happened during her chaotic day in the city, Brit's convoy of SUVs came screeching through the quiet streets with a full police escort - looking more like the President's motorcade in an air raid than a pop star in a residential neighborhood.
