Als de draft voorbij is spelen we vanaf het begin van regular season head-to-head wedstrijden met onze teams. Als de NFL wedstrijden van die week klaar zijn kunnen we zien wie er gewonnen heeft in de head-to-head wedstrijden, en op basis daarvan hebben we klassement in onze league (dus diegene met de beste win-loss record staat bovenaan).

“Unfortunately, I’m being treated like any other player that ever played for the Bengals,” Williams tells Ryan Ernst of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “Maybe the team can walk away from that, but I can’t walk, let alone walk away.”

Williams said that he has never heard a word from Bengals owner Mike Brown. Brown released a statement to the Enquirer saying, “Reggie is one of our Bengals heroes. He was a great player for us for a long time, and I consider him not only a significant part of our history, but also a personal friend.”

The NFL Players’ Association, which steadfastly insists that its sole responsibility is the welfare of active players, declined to comment to the Enquirer.

Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports that the Ravens and first-round pick Joe Flacco have agreed to terms.

It’s a five-year deal, with a value of nearly $30 million. The deal includes Brady Quinn-style escalators based on playing time. Unlike Quinn, the fact that Flacco is signed before the start of training camp makes it more likely that he’ll be the starter at some point in his rookie year.

The contract also includes $8.75 million in guaranteed money.

Flacco was the 18th overall selection in the draft.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers have filed tampering charges against the Minnesota Vikings alleging the team made inappropriate contact with Brett Favre, a person familiar with the Packers' complaint told The Associated Press Wednesday night.

The person, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject, said Packers officials have expressed their belief that interest from the Vikings was driving Favre's sudden change of heart about playing football in 2008.

"They feel like Favre had something (in place), and that's why he was so anxious to get his release all of a sudden," the person said.

The tampering charges were first reported by Foxsports.com earlier Wednesday.

The person said the league already has reviewed evidence provided by the Packers, and team officials believe a league examination of telephone records would indicate more than "normal contact" between Favre and Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, a former Green Bay assistant. According to the person, Packers officials also believe the contact began before Favre and his agent, Bus Cook, formally asked the Packers to release him.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league had no comment on the report. Cook did not return a telephone message left by The Associated Press earlier Wednesday.
