Dave Holloway Interview 2-11-08

Dave on NBC/13 Birmingham

Believes that the confession is true.
Does not believe that Deepak and Satish are not involved.
He believes that their involvement will come forward very soon.
He is talking about what happened in Carlos and Charlie's
the night that Natalee disappeared. Says that there is
a back bar at C&Cs and that Natalee was steered to that
bar at last call. He had a friend monitor that bar on several
nights in succession. At last call guy would order two drinks
bartender would pour two drinks normally and would then reach
to a shelf over his head and pour a clear substance into one of
the drinks.
He was very disappointed that the three judge panel extended
the time for Joran's lawyer to argue the case. They do not
expect a ruling before the end of the week, even though they
are saying Wednesday.
Dave says that common sense tells him that they put Natalee
in the water.

We don't know if that Mattress was involved,it was saturated with dogs blood on the southern part of the island and found just a few days after NH went missing. We know Joran killed his own dog and Lorenzo was rumored to kill dogs also. Within 3 hours they said it was not related and it only had dogs blood. This was the same day they falsely arrested two innocent men and attempted to frame them to lead the investigation away from the real perps.

The VCB shirt,we are told had forensic evidence on it linked to this case. That company VCB is a security company owned by GVC'S Father who runs the camera's at the Holiday Inn where Natalee dissapeared and many of the casino's and Govt bldgs in Aruba. They also run the Visibilty team or beach patrol around the island that works with the police. Geoffrey van Cromvoirt was arrested in this case and suspected of being involved . He was good friends of Michael Dompig who is Commissioners Dompigs son. It has been reported he worked for the beach patrol when Natalee went missing. Also some other strange things about this guy,like he got totally weird with a tourist when she mentioned Natalee..I forget it all at the moment but she went to the FBI because his actions were so strange. I posted more on GVC here at FOK in the other threads.

It is Beth's hope that in any event, the teen taken into custody can shed some new light on what happened the night Natalee was last seen. Details continue to emerge about Van Cromvoirt's possible link to Natalee. He was a security guard at the Holiday Inn where Holloway was staying in Aruba, and he helped search the beaches after her disappearance. What's even more stunning is that Van Cromvoirt's father is in charge of video surveillance at the hotel.

Blood possibly the reason for arrest

ORANJESTAD - There seems to be a connection to the find of a shirt with evidence of blood shortly after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and the arrest of a 19 year old man.
The suspect, Godfried van C. that was arrested on Aruba last saturday, works for his father's security company VCB Security. The logo of that company was found an a shirt, that was found after an extensive search of the island, on june 6th last year. The shirt had blood-spatters on it.

A police-detective announced that find almost a year ago to journalists. He at that time said that the shirt was impounded for further investigations. What that investigation produced was never made public.

The police had already talked to the suspect, who's parents are dutch, last june but at that moment he was just a witness. On information received after the transmission of Opsporing Verzocht, the police re-interviewed the man, after which he was placed under arrest.

A judge-commissioner will today determine if the DA has sufficient grounds to keep Van C. in jail.

MSNBC Video: GVC:Criminal Offences that may relate to Natalee Holloway and also offences related to illegal narcotics.

The attorney for Joran Van Der SLoot has seen documents that the t-shirt found on the beach is believed to be GVC'S and it may contain some forensic evidence.

In other vidoes it said they watched him for a very long time before he was arrested. That VCB Shirt was found early June 2005 why was he allowed to be part of the search teams looking for evidence if he was already under suspicions?

Antilles in epicenter cocaine business

WILLEMSTAD – ‘The Neth.Antilles is in the epicenter of the worldwide cocaine business’, states a joint report of the Office Drugs and Crime of the United Nations and the Latin-American and Caribbean region of the World Bank: ‘Crime, Violence, and Development: Trends, Costs, and Policy Options in the Caribbean’, which was published yesterday. A special case study of the Neth.Antilles is included in the report.

The persons that produced the 223-page report had two reasons for dedicating 12 pages to the case study of the Neth.Antilles. First, the Neth.Antilles is one of the Caribbean countries that are being afflicted the most by drug smuggling, and worldwide, it has the highest ‘volume of cocaine per inhabitant’. “About one-hundred times more cocaine per inhabitant was confiscated in 2004 than in the United States; more than 9 ton or a little less than 50 gram per each man, woman, and child on the islands. Approximately 60 percent of all intercepted cocaine in the Caribbean was confiscated in the Neth.Antilles; these figures increased enormously between 2001 and 2004.”

Second, the government of the Neth.Antilles, in cooperation with the Dutch government, has perused an innovative and successful policy in order to drive back the cocaine supply.

The researchers say that the big drug catch can not only be attributed to the enormous transit, but also to the good tracing on sea as well as at the airport. “The Neth.Antilles is unique in their geographical vulnerability, especially as regards the maritime traffic. In a way they form Europe’s (and to a lesser degree the United States ) first line of drug smuggling via sea from the Venezuelan coast. The high drug catch figures are mainly a product of excellent police work and must be praised and not judged”, the report states.

CRIMINALITY

As violence and violent threats regulate transactions in this market, the drug smuggling is interrelated with significant increase of criminality, acts of violence and the use of firearms in particular. What’s more, drug smuggling is being associated with money laundering practices, arms smuggling, and corruption. Drug usage is being associated with increased violent criminality as well as several types of robbery. “The Neth.Antillean authorities estimate that 75 percent of the criminality on the islands is drug related.”

The Neth.Antilles has not always been in the epicenter of the worldwide cocaine business, states the report. “A few things have changed recently. Crime control has made it less likely to ship drugs directly from Colombia and more likely to ship them via another country, especially Venezuela . Curaçao, Bonaire, and Aruba are between a big part of the Venezuelan coast and the rest of the world. There is in addition a lot of commercial sea traffic between Venezuela and the Neth.Antilles, which can serve as a front for the drug transportation and the continuation from there via sea or air.” Another reason that the report produces is that the Neth.Antilles is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands . “While the use of cocaine has dropped in the US since the nineties, it has increased in Europe .” There is also a big group of potential couriers in the Antilles due to the high unemployment figures.

GEOGRAPHICALLY

Despite their diversity, the Caribbean countries share their geographical position in the world’s biggest drug smuggling zone. South-America produces almost all the cocaine, of which 88 percent is sold in the US and Europe . This market was good for 70 milliard dollars in 2003, while the gross domestic product of the entire Caribbean was 31.5 milliard dollars in 2004, compares the report and so indicates how big the economic importance of drugs is. “The value of the drug flow through the region might some day exceed the value of the total legal economy.”

[WEBLOG ARUBA] Weinig Arubanen houden zich tot op de dag van vandaag bezig met zoeken naar Natalee Holloway. Zakenman Eduardo Mansur is zo’n uitzondering.

Hij helpt de familie Holloway waar hij kan. Hij fungeert als een makelaar tussen de Arubaanse contacten die er toe doen en Amerikaanse zoekteams of privé-detectives die namens de Holloways Aruba aandoen.

Mansur houdt kantoor in zijn bar in Palm Beach, waar alles en iedereen bij elkaar komt. Daar vertelt hij over de begindagen bijna drie jaar geleden. De dagen dat elke tip de gouden tip kon zijn. Toen hij tot drie keer rond het hele eiland heeft gelopen.

Een van de meest memorabele tips kwam van een man die van de vuilnisbelt leefde. ,,Hij vertelde dat hij had gezien hoe mensen iets opgerold in een tapijt op de vuilnisbelt hadden gedumpt. Hij had blond haar gezien en was er zeker van dat het Natalee was.’’ Na dertig dagen vuil spitten, vond Mansur het tapijt, met daarin opgerold een palmboom. ,,De man had de palmbladeren voor Natalee’s haar aangezien. Hij was toen waarschijnlijk onder invloed van drugs.’’

Ook kan Mansur zich nog goed herinneren dat er een arm aanspoelde in Punto Fijo, de Venezolaanse plaats die het dichtst bij de Antillen ligt. ,,Ze stuurden de arm naar het lab in Caracas. Toen we niets meer hoorden, ben ik na gaan bellen. Wat bleek? Hadden ze de arm in Caracas weggegooid, omdat het een pelikanenpoot zou zijn geweest.’’ De zakenman is er tot op de dag van vandaag van overtuigd dat het wél een arm was. ,,Ik heb er een foto van gezien en hoewel de kwaliteit slecht was, was het duidelijk een arm.’’

De Arubaan heeft grijze haren van de zaak gekregen. Waarom gaat hij toch door? ,,Ik wil dat het afgelopen is. Dat de familie deze tragedie kan afsluiten. Ik wil hen hun dochter teruggeven. En ik wil dat de juiste mensen achter de tralies belanden: Joran, zijn vader, de genius achter deze cover-up, en wat dirty cops.’’
