"She said she did not think it too strange at that point because she did not know what pyjamas Madeleine was wearing that night. "She just cannot be sure she would recognise the man again if she saw him because she only got a fleeting glimpse of him. "Jane has been aksed if the man could have been Robert Murat, because the man was walking in the direction of his home, but there's no way she could know that."

Neu, het is daar in Praia da Luz 'knap druk en zeeeeeeeeeeeer onveilig' waarover het McCann-kamp (voor de Arguido-status) aldoor vertelde dat het een dorp was waar nooit wat gebeurde, very sleepy, it felt so safe, kindvriendelijk en waarvan nu bekend is (onlangs in een korte docu op de BBC) dat de McCanns al jaren in de Algarve kwamen. En of die brieven met vragen voor de McCann-betrokkenen al bij Eurojust zijn aanbeland of zelfs al in de UK zijn???? Er is geen krant die dat uitzoekt....

"Today we have released drawings of a man who needs to be eliminated from the investigation to find Madeleine. A witness, Gail Cooper, who was holidaying in Praia da Luz shortly before we arrived, saw him on several occasions. She found the man, who claimed to be collecting for an orphanage, very intimidating. After interviewing Gail, our private investigators commissioned a forensic sketch by a FBI trained artist. The man Jane saw walking away from the apartments where we were staying was carrying a child, around 9.10pm on the night Madeleine was abducted. Jane has been shown these sketches of the man. She feels he has a strong resemblance to the man she saw on May 3rd.carrying the child away.

Nah, ik spendeer er geen cent aan, bovendien wil ik ook niet meewerken aan berichten in de pers dat er zo veel op is gereageerd. Ik heb wel al vaker gelezen dat Miiror-posters voor Jan met de korte achternaam hebben gebeld. En soms heeft de Daily Mail nog wel eens puntjes van kritiek in dit artikel uit December: Have the McCanns really chosen the best private detectives to find Madeleine?

Ik begrijp eigenlijk niet hoe het mogelijk is dat een privebureau zomaar posters van mogelijke verdachten kan verspreiden, dat is toch een taak/zaak van de politie dacht ik zo. Je zal er maar enigszins op lijken op een man die deze Gail Cooper mogelijk heeft bedacht (weet ik wel zeker), toen ze op een luie mooie lentedag hem ergens heeft gezien, in een barretje of zo of wandelend op het strand, wat een zooi onzin. In zuiderlijke landen zijn er tig van deze mannen die er zo uitzien. En deze pers-voorstelling van vandaag wordt Clarence Mirchell en daarmee de McCanns niet in dank afgenomen, gezien de fora en bloggers. En hij was al zo lachwekkend.... Hij had dit vast al snel gepland nu bekend werd dat het 'vermiste' Spaande meisje Mari niet wordt gelinkt aan Madeleine, die Clarrie moet tig scenario's hebben klaarliggen voor het geval dàt. Bij elk beetje slecht nieuws wordt er direct met iets anders de bladen gevuld, aandacht afleiden én aandacht houden, net wanneer het ze uitkomt.

Overigens schijnt vrouwtje Cooper niet eerder die schets van Bundleman (getekend volgens het steeds veranderende geheugen van Jane Tanner) te hebben gezien, volgens Clarrie op Sky. De halve wereld stond bol van die tekening, Cooper weet van niks.

ik moet ook zo lachen om al die getuigen die allemaal beweren dat ze hun relaas toch echt al maaaaaanden geleden aan de politie verteld hebben, maar die er niets mee gedaan heeft... om zo dus recht te liegen waarom ze nu pas komen met hun verslag over alweeeeeeeer een creepy guy of alweeeeeeer een possible Maddie sighting... die tot nu toe allemaal niets bleken te zijn.
En ondertuasen staat oma op de voorpagina met naam en toenaam "de dag dat ik een creepy guy zag...."

en dan nog in de reacties mensen die verontwaardigd reageren "waarom deed de politie destijds niets met hun verhaal???" .. ja omdat het nooit verteld is toen, of zo volkomen lariekoze nonsens dat het 't ene oor niet eens in ging.
het wordt tijd dat er weer eens een familie in Marokko beschuldigd wordt van ontvoering..... van hun eigen dochter

Het is werkelijk te triest voor woorden hoor, zou zoiets nou ook op die manier in de Nederlandse pers worden verslagen? Iemand zoals Clarence Mitchell, voormalig journalist/pr-man van de regering en nu woordvoerder van ouders die formeel verdachten zijn ivm de vermissing (in het buitenland) van hun kind, en vervolgens zo ongeveer de headlines in alle kranten bepaald, naar zijn hand zet als het ware. Er is bijna geen kritische noot te vinden. Klakkeloos worden de verzinsels gepubliceerd, zoals getuigen die zich een plots na maaaaanden een engerd herinneren. Schaamteloos worden schetsen in elkaar geflanst en worden er posters van gemaakt. Ook The Independent gaat zelf in de fout: "McCann's call for international seach to trace abductor" Terwijl er in dezelfde krant werd geschreven in een commentaar: "Maddy's off the front page" Followers of the Madeleine McCann story have been able to depend on the 'Evening Standard' to clear the front page for any development. So how come a potential breakthrough, with police looking into the disappearance of another little girl near Praia da Luz, was buried on page 17? The answer is: sales fell by 10,000 the last two times Maddy made the cover, so the news desk have been told to curb their Maddy enthusiasm. If only they'd tell the 'Express' to do likewise." Staaltje hypocrysie van de eerste orde.

Polls wijzen uit dat het Engels publiek allang niet meer geloofd wat de pers hierover schrijft. Ik geloof er niks van dat zoiets in Nederland zou kunnen, kien als een aantal journlisten hier zijn op onthullingen, het ontmaskeren van 'mooie' verhaaltjes is hier bijna een sport. Balkenende zou hier niks met een mogelijk invloed in een kwestie niks kunnen aanvangen, toch?

Wie en wat zit(ten) hier achter? Het is bekend dat PM Gordon Brown er zich persoonlijk mee heeft bemoeid en dat geldschieters van enige importantie, zoals Virgin-man Richard Branson (mee met Brown naar China, vette deals scoren en voor overname van het bijna failliete Northern Rock bank), een bijna niet te breken muur om de McCanns hebben gebouwd.

GORDON BROWN INVOLVEMENT

Gordon Brown allegedly told the Portuguese Premiere that the McCanns were innocent, or at least he believed them to be so.

We all have heard how Brown personally intevened to have the Bundleman description released. Also of couse, one of his spin doctors is now providing spin for the McCanms.

Also it has been reported that if the McCanns were Portuguese and there wasn't all this political interference they would have been charged by now. Perhaps the McCanns would have already been arrested and charged if Brown had kept his nose out. Why are we still waiting for the next round of interviews?

Is this hold up from the top? So what's the deal? Is Gordon helping the McCanns just because he would help any other suspects in their position? I don't think so.

Is it a political game between Portugal and Britain? Or even a bargaining chip over Gibraltar negotiations. The McCann case could humiliate the Portuguese reputation for its police and its tourism. Is it a matter of personal friendships, his brother who knows people who are friends of the Mccanns? Or is there a specific reason why Brown wants to protect the McCanns? A secret we may never know about? Suppose yes to any in the above paragraph. How can the McCanns be helped out of this situation?

ACTION PLAN TO LET OFF THE MCCANNS

First delay next round of questions as this would elevate the McCanns as suspects in the public mind.

Suppose public opinion can be turned so that most people in Britain believe the McCanns are innocent, then Brown's people could get the charges dropped without an outcry. How can that be achieved? Bundleman is the key, just as Bundleman was very important to Gordon Brown's intervention before..

If Bundleman can be shown to be a real person who was also seen by other witnesses and perhaps even abducted another child (in Huelva) it would show clearly to most people that the McCanns must be innocent and there is no case therefore to make charges.

ACTION OVER PAST WEEK

All the elements have been put in place over the past week or so. Child abducted not too far from Praia da Luz.

Cooperman, the man seen by Gail Cooper is all over the front pages and TV News in a new media frenzy. Tanner confirms Cooperman and Bundleman are one and the same. Above information put out in a media blitz.

ACTION PLAN IN NEXT FEW WEEKS

Sightings of Cooperman will be reported in Huelva. This is the "proof" needed that Cooperman/Bundleman abducted Madeleine and also another child.

Therefore the British people must believe the McCanns are innocent. Flaws in Portuguese investigation now to be ripped open and exposed in the media in another frenzy.

Media to repeat that there is no case to be made against the McCanns. The British tell Portuguese they want to drop case against McCanns and the British police will not reinterview them. There is nothing Portuguese can do about it.

Arguido status dropped and McCanns told their will be no further action against them. The secret that the McCanns hold that may or may not include a government secret are never revealed.

En als laatste nieuws, Daily Mail: Robert Murat 'seen talking to man matching artist's impression of Madeleine suspect ' En The Mirror houdt het toch maar weer op een Peado-gang: "Hunt for Madeleine McCann paedo gang suspect" Uiteindelijk hebben de McCanns altijd al een pedofielen-bende voor ogen gehad, mede doel om een Europese organisatie for missing childeren op te zetten. Het proces daar naar toe vordert gestaag...

Zoiets verwacht je van een land met een on-democratische karakter en ook in het Oostblok, maar hier in het vrije westen, met een evenzo vrije pers???? Nog even over de BBC, de docu Panorama mag dan best als een positieve uitzondering worden genoemd, ondanks wat foutjes werden er genoeg vragen opgeworpen die voor velerlei uitleg vatbaar zijn, en zo hoort het ook, maar niet voor niets trok David Mills, de producer, zich terug. Naar mijn mening vond Mills deze aflevering van Panorama iets teveel in het nadeel van de McCanns, ik kan het niet anders lezen. Mogelijk zijn de makers zelfs op de vingers getikt (door wie?) en wenste Mills zijn handen 'schoon' te houden. Nog afgezien van het feit dat als meisje Pennington uberhaupt daar iemand heeft gezien, met alle details, het ook David Payne (ipv Murat) zou kunnen zijn, zoals velen scherp hebben opgemerkt, de gelijkenis is opvallend. Eerdere post.

Wanneer er gekeken wordt naar de sketches van de bundleman dan blijft er maar één verdachte over:

zoals die bundleman dat kind ook weggedragen zou hebben.... alsof dat niet de aandacht trekt..
het is al gezegd ergens, is het niet makkelijker, en ook 'vertrouwder ogend" als je het kind gewoon op de arm draagt, hoofdje rustend op je schouder?

ik bedoel zo tilde ik mijn in slaap gevallen kids uit de auto naar binnen thuis... zo op de armen liggend, doe je alleen als ze gestrekt op de bank in slaap gevallen zijn om ze zo in bed te leggen, zodra je een trap op moet, is dat al onhandig en neem je ze weer makkelijker op de arm.

Vermoedelijk gewoon een vader die z'n slapend kind uit de crèche heeft gehaald en rustig lopend naar z'n vakantieverblijf. Dat waren de huisregels, zelf brengen en ophalen. Die Jane Tanner heeft zoveel verhalen verteld (zijzelf en vrienden) dat het hoogst waarschijnlijk zo is dat ze helemaal niet haar kids heeft gecheckt maar moest ze een verhaal verzinnen om te laten zien dat ze wel een check heeft gedaan, immers....Gerry en Wilkens hebben haar niet gezien. De PJ zal het wel weten, er bestaan mogelijk CCTV-beelden van die avond.

The McCanns have offered to put pictures of Mari Luz's face alongside Madeleine's on posters in Spain, Portugal and north Africa. Police have said they do not think there is any connection between the two - but Spanish detectives hunting the five-year-old have yet to come up with any firm leads.

They questioned a local man who disappeared shortly after Mari Luz went missing and - but released him without charge after searching his home and finding nothing. Metodo 3 has worked for the McCanns since last September on a £50,000-a-month contract - the equivalent of £2,000 per working day.

Controversial boss Francisco Marco - rapped over a series of claims he knows who took Madeleine and is pretty sure where she is - has pledged to find her before March. It is not known if the McCanns know of Mari Luz's parents' plans to hire their detective agency.

Metodo 3 is not thought to have agreed to work exclusively for the McCanns. But any acceptance of other contracts is bound to raise questions about its ability to discover the Brit youngster when it is costing the Find Madeleine Fund hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Mari Luz's parents have not revealed how they plan to pay for Metodo 3's services. But they are thought to be searching for a wealthy donor to back their idea. An appeal fund set up shortly after their daughter went missing has just £300 in it. Daily Mail

Ik wilde net wat interessante ontwikkelingen hier posten, bv dat die getuige Gail Cooper waarschijnlijk ingehuurd is, gisteren gaf ze een interview vanuit de woonplaats van de McCanns, Rothley. En mogelijk kent ze Gerry McCann via Comare. Het excuus om dit topic te sluiten vanwege genoemde redenen is natuurlijk nonsens, met een behoorlijke moderatie, wat ze al deden, is er niks aan de hand. Maar er werden logisch conclusies getrokken en artikelen uit de pers ontmaskert (omdat journo's hun werk niet kunnen/mogen doen) die al dichter bij de waarheid kwamen. Het meest populaire/gelezen forum is dus de nek omgedraaid.

New powerful DNA tool gets go-ahead The Press Association

Revolutionary DNA technology which could catch thousands more criminals every year is finally set to be cleared for use by police. DNAboost - which allows scientists to unravel mixed and previously unusable genetic samples - was hailed for its crime-fighting potential by former Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2006.

Experts believe the powerful software will identify up to 6,000 extra suspects annually, and could also help in cases such as that of missing Madeleine McCann - where forensic evidence appears to have been difficult to analyse. However, despite impressive results from pilot schemes in Yorkshire, Humberside and Northumbria, police have been banned from using the tool for more than 12 months.

The long delay led detectives and scientists to complain that the technology was falling victim to a "turf war" over the National DNA Database. The Forensic Science Service (FSS) - which developed DNAboost - was stripped of control over the bank of 3.5 million samples in December 2005, when it was made an independent Government-backed company.

A Home Office strategy board including representatives from the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) and the Association of Police Authorities (Apa) now decides how the database can be used. A spokeswoman for the department confirmed that the strategy board had delivered its recommendation, and the matter had been passed to the Attorney General for final sign-off.

A source close to the project said DNAboost was the "most validated DNA technology in history".

They said: "This is the biggest step forward in crime-fighting science for more than a decade, and it has taken far too long to get clearance. It looks like it's finally getting authorised, but we could have caught thousands of criminals while they have gone through these hoops.
