Ik vind Limitless wel wat luchtiger en relaxter dan Blindspot eerlijk gezegd. Iets minder pretentieus.

Deadline stelt dat er binnenkort een tv-serie komt rond Jack Ryan, het populaire personage van Tom Clancy. De serie wordt gemaakt door Lost-showrunner Carlton Cuse en scenarist Graham Roland. Er verschenen in totaal vijf films met deze acteurs, beginnend met The Hunt for Red October in 1990 en in 2013 nog Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. Gezamenlijk haalden de films zo’n 1 miljard dollar op wereldwijd.
Nu zou daar dus een serie aan toegevoegd worden.

Ik vind het dan vooral weer jammer dat het niet meer de a-team is van toen en dat er vrouwen in het groepje zitten. Ik weet dat dat best seksistisch overkomt. Maar je neemt een serie en gaat dan het belangrijkste ding omgooien. Dat zou het zelfde zijn als dat je Charlies Angles opnieuw zou maken en het 2 vrouwen en een man is... dat is gewoon fout.

Gelukkig, iemand is het met mij eens. Ik was al bang voor een licht feministische rant over dat ik te seksistisch bezig was

Nee joh helemaal niet. Ik vind juist dat het overdreven politiek correct is om er vrouwen bij te zetten. Al moet ik zeggen dat het er een beetje aan ligt hoe die vrouwen eruit zien. Als ze met diepe decolletes rondlopen dan is DAT juist weer seksistischquote:

Helemaal met je eens hoor, dat overdreven gedoe om vrouwen te promoten in rollen die voorheen door een man gespeeld werden irriteert me ook enorm. Het werkt in 9 van de 10 gevallen gewoon niet.quote:

Denk ook niet dat ik het nieuwe A-team ga kijken, ben bang dat het heel erg gaat tegenvallen.
Net Heroes Reborn zitten kijken. Het niveau is eigenlijk hetzelfde als in de laatste seizoenen, vaag en niet al te best, maar ga hem toch blijven kijken. Verhaal intrigeert me nog steeds. Ben benieuwd hoe lang de serie het vol gaat houden.
