Simon Cowell said today: “I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I’m very happy they have all agreed to come back. Last year was a special year for talent and I hope that in 2013, off the back of an amazing year for Britain, we find another global star.”
Amanda Holden added: “I’m thrilled to be back on Britain’s Got Talent. It’s the best fun ever and I love it! I’m not even going to try to be cool about the fact that I’m back! I’m over the moon!”
Meanwhile Alesha Dixon said she was happy to be back for her second series.
She said: “We had an incredible series in what has been a fantastic year for Great Britain, the talent blew us all away and I can’t wait to see what delights neat year brings.”
And David Walliams, who was also a new addition to the panel last year, remarked: “My Simon and I are going to be together again. I’m delighted to confirm I will be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent again next year. I am so happy I could cry.”
Fresh from their time in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Ant and Dec were also glad to announce their return.
Dec revealed: “Simon was the happiest I have ever seen him when Ashleigh and Pudsey won! I’m not sure we’ll ever see him as happy again – so that’s the challenge Great Britain, show us what you’ve got!”
