Het is misschien niet de conventionele methode, maar de tactiek om een CD eerst te doorgronden in mp3-formaat en vervolgens pas een besluit te nemen met betrekking tot het aanschaffen ervan maakt het hele proces van CD's verzamelen eigenlijk alleen maar leuker voor me. Miskopen of langere-termijn-teleurstellingen weet je op die manier vakkundig te omzeilen, en het hogere kwaliteit/kwantiteit ratio zorgt bij mij ook veel meer tevredenheid wat mijn aankopen betreft. En ik koop er zeker niet minder albums door, integendeel. Al ben ik wel veel prijsbewuster geworden dan eerst door het weghalen van de directe koopdrang, en merk ik dat de mentale bovengrens van wat ik bereid ben per CD te betalen veel lager ligt dan een paar jaar terug. Niet dat ik nu minder geld uitgeef aan muziek natuurlijk...

Van Waltari moet je eigenlijk Yeah Yeah Die Die! kopen, de plaat die Therion had moeten maken, maar niet deed, en zeker nooit meer zal doen. Geweldig album is dat. (voorzover je hem nog niet hebt)
Ik laat het je weten zodra ik het album gehoord heb... ik ontvang het pakketje woensdag. Wat betreft Waltari, ik kon deze twee erg goedkoop krijgen (Kinsum), ik ga sowieso die "death metal symphony" wel checken!
