Let me first start out by saying that I can not stand dramas. The only time I will put in a drama is when its a girly movie and I want to get some from the girlfriend. Get some in the first five minutes, then nap until its over. That is what dramas mean to me.

Anyway.. I digress. This is a typical drama. Quite boring. Don't really know what its about because my short attention span couldn't focus. But it has two things really going for it.

's left and right boob. They are gorgeous pieces of art that make their appearance 4 minutes and 30 seconds into this movie. The rest I think I fast forwarded through.

So to summarize.. movie was a 0 (boring drama), her boobs are a 10, so by using the IMDb formula, this averages out to a 9.

A must rent!

I really enjoyed this movie, and as a sufferer of depression I felt that it really portrayed how we can feel about ourselves. I could relate to the main character and the moods she was experiencing, both before and after being on the medication. I think that may not have been the best choice for the mother, as she seemed a little aged, considering she was portraying someone who had given birth while in college. But that would be the only fault I could find. I found 's performance to be outstanding, and very moving. And it did open my friends eyes to how some people struggle through life with this illness.

I think as a Scandinavian viewer this film is very good. Although the movie is handling the American society, it's done in a very Scandinavian way when it comes to cinematography and story telling so it doesn't surprise me if many Americans dislike the movie. presents many themes but leaves the decision to viewer what to think about them. It doesn't just give you a story from A to B but rather challenges one to take sides. In a way the story is told in a very simple and even rough way, which I like in movies - no unnecessary plot twists or anything that would take away the attention from the story itself. The casting of the movie is also very well selected, each cast member makes a good performance.
