wel een goede cd voor iemand die nog geen michael jackson albums heeft en gewoon zn grootste hits wil hebben.. maar ik snap zo'n platencontract niet echt, hij zou 4 albums moeten doen en een verzamelalbum? [dangerous, history, blood on the dancefloor, invincible, number ones]? en hij zou na number ones weg gaan bij sony... toen kwam The Ultimate Collection uit, en nu deze cd weer
wanneer gaat ie nou naar een andere record company, of blijft ie soms bij een label die hij racistisch, en duivels genoemd heeft

These photographs of Jackson's cluttered and filthy private quarters, taken by investigating cops, shed light on the dark life of the superstar.

For behind the splendid entrance hall to his Californian home, guarded by alarm systems, lies the world of a weird tramp.

A sea of half-drunk soda cans, empty boxes, dirty towels and discarded clothes surround the eerie mannequins. One is a boy doing a headstand on a red velvet throne.

Photos and posters of children are pinned randomly to the walls— many of them of Thirties child star Shirley Temple.

One poster depicts a spaghetti-spattered toddler hovering over a potty. Another shows three children swimming naked, shot from underwater.

On one wall is a huge painting re-creating Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper—but with Jackson as Jesus. He is surrounded by ‘disciples' including Charlie Chaplin and Abraham Lincoln.

Everywhere there are cheap old TVs and cassette recorders. A display case is crammed with toys to amuse the boys he admits he shared his bed with. Boys he claims he'll never share his bed with again.

On the evidence of these pictures, who would want to?

Ik kan me vergissen, maar volgens mij heeft Michael z'n contract met Sony uitgediend. Dit compilatie album staat volgens mij los van enige contractuele verplichting. Sony kan, zonder dat Michael daar enige inbreng in heeft, tot in lengte van dagen z'n oude nummers uitbrengen in een nieuw jasje. Makkelijk cashen is dat. En dan vinden ze het gek dat de cd-verkopen dalen.

Nu ja, Eskimo, bij de Blokker vinden de beeldjes of poppen van straatschoffies,of schattige kleuter meiskes in dito jurkjes gretig aftrek (no pun intended).
MJ heeft wat meer poen en koopt een wat realistische popje.... vind dat nu niet echt schokkend of zo.... de teringzooi in zijn huis ook niet, ms wel de afbeeldingen van kinderen overal ...

Het is best een goede cd alleen bijna nergens meer verkrijgbaar + er zit een greatest hits cd aan vast. haal cd1 er af en gooi cd 2 in de bak bij thriller en bad enzo.. heel weinig gasten hebben 'history'

Ik was even in de veronderstelling dat die al apart te verkrijgen was, maar ik ben in de war met cd 1. Gemiste kans van Sony.

Ik heb natuurlijk niks over anderen te zeggen...

Maar kom op, grapjes over Michael Jackson en jongetjes zijn nu echt wel klaar dacht ik zo.

En dat over die Voodoo... neemt iemand dat serieus?

Ik snap best dat sommigen de onbedwingbare behoefte hebben om Jackson af te blijven zeiken, maar het is wat mij betreft echt over de datum. Zum , dus tijd voor een ander slachtoffer. Ik hoop dat hij zin en binnenkort weer energie heeft om muziek te maken en op te treden.

Qua geld: ik vraag me af hoeveel er waar is van dat Michael geld vroeg voor Live Aid. En als dat wel zo is: hij geeft zoveel weg. Ook de opbrengst van zijn tours met zijn broers (Victory) en solo: Bad, Dangerous en HIStory. Ik weet niet of het handig is om op Live 8 te gaan staan nu, en ik vraag me ook af of het wel waar is. Volgens mij heeft hij daar op het moment niet zo'n behoefte aan. Maar ik zou wel blij verrast zijn als hij wel komt.

Voodoo is zo vaag en Live Aid is zo lang geleden. Het lijkt er op dat de sensatiezoekers echt geen munitie meer hebben.

Ik vind 't zo raar dat mensen er bijna van overtuigd lijken te zijn dat ie weer 'n gigantische 'comeback' krijgt.. Die man kan bijna niks meer! Invincible was toch ook al 'n redelijke flop, hij was absoluut niet meer de MJ van paar jaar geleden.. Hij is fysiek gewoon niet helemaal goed meer. In "cry" was ie al niet eens in beeld.

geloof er niks van dat ie nu opeens weer keihard terug komt. Zou wel 'n mooi goedmakertje voor die flop zijn, maar het beste was toch geweest als ie voor invincible gewoon gestopt was. Aangekondigd.
