is a genius. I say that lightly, he is a genius with visual film. This film keeps your brain active without words, without a Hollywood plot. This movie keeps you busy watching, viewing, almost as if your lost yourself. you feel the beauty of nature and the scope of its enormity. The possibility of nature engulfing you and the freedom you can not acquire. The freedom we desire, the freedom of nature. It was beautiful, I recommend this film to any and all who love film as a visual media, as more than a special effects roller coaster of edits. It was a beautiful work of art and definitely deserving of an award for cinematography. I believe my brain was more stimulated from this film, than any action film ever made, even Star Wars. I will say it again the visuals are amazing.

First and foremost, congratulations to the steady-cam job, especially in the scene where foreground grass is seen coming and going during the "down the hill – distance between the two" shot! Question to potential watchers: when you're waiting for an event to start [i.e. boarding a plane], do you pace around impatiently, or do you stay put patiently? Learn to do the latter before you watch this movie. And don't watch it when you're very tired: you'll sleep, for sure. Question to potential wilderness walkers, in such kind of weather: isn't it common knowledge where North is, and how to avoid running around in circle? I've traveled extensively even in very remote places [Asia & Africa], but I very seldom managed not to hear a plane [or see tails in the sky], even if only once a week. And, with common sense… Survival instinct vs. knowledge – I remain confused about the two character's stand on that. Question to the crew: was it really necessary to set up what looks like a mile of tracks for the Saltlake scenes, after the fantastic job done in the hills with the steady-cam?
