19 december was er in Jakarta een onverklaarbare gebeurtenis in de lucht wat een grote explosie veroorzaakt heeft.

Nee je hebt simpelweg niet genoeg energie hiervoor. De breukzone was 12 km, en er was zo'n 250 jaar geen aardbeving hier geweest. Kijk maar eens op USGS's FAQ hierover, zelfs met nucleaire explosies is het moeilijk te veroorzaken.

Ik mag dan wel geen universitaire opleiding natuurkunde gevolgd hebben, maar ik heb nooit 1x iets over tesla gehoord op de middelbare school. Einsten, Marconi en die lul Edison (die Tesla naaide) heb ik wel wat over gehoord. Vooral de eerste en de laatste.

Wat die AC betreft, dat weet ik iig zeker. Hij had ook uitgevonden hoe men elektriciteit draadloos en over de hele aarde kon verzenden, dat weet ik ook zeker. Ik zou graag willen dat deze belangrijke en goudeerlijke man een stuk prominenter aanwezig is in onze natuurkunde boeken. Vooral van zijn manier van denken zouden een hoop wetenschappers nog het 1 en ander van kunnen leren.
Als je naam aan een eenheid geplakt zit heb je toch wel wat bereikt. Als je in een rijtje staat met Watt, Kelvin en Newton heb je toch wel wat bereikt, lijkt me. Dat jij er niets over gehoord hebt zegt meer over jou en je kennis van het onderwerp.
Ennuh: ik denk dat jij vooral nog iets kan leren van zijn manier van denken (denk ik), namelijk: gewoon wetenschappelijk en rationeel. Misschien out-of-the-box, maar wel met beide benen op de grond (en dat kan ik van jou niet zeggen).
Straks komen er nog topics over nulpuntsenergie en Heidelberg, en "waarom hebben we daar nooit iets van gehoord" en dat soort onzin.
