Ik heb Jack Johnson ontdekt in Griekenland waar het steeds gedraaid werd, dat was vorig jaar dus nog voordat hij zo bekend werd als nu met zijn hit sitting waiting wishing. Het nummer dat ik in Griekenland hoorde was 'Wasting Time' van de cd on and on. Ik heb inmiddels al zijn cd's en vind ze stuk voor stuk even goed. Ook van diezelfde cd het nummer 'Cookie jar' heeft een erg sterke tekst. Jack maakt muziek met een boodschap.

Op het nieuwste album van de Black Eyed Peas staat een nummertje ('Gone Going') dat ze samen doen. Errug chill nummer ook, typisch jack johnson nummer maar met de funky rap van de peas erdoorheen . Echt een d*wnloadtip.

Zag net nieuwe clip op MTV van hem: Good people, live opname, alleen het geluid (in de clip) was niet top vond ik.

Heb net ff wat albums gedownload. Ik vond dat hitje van hem nu in Nederland wel redelijk relaxt, maar ik kan nou niet zeggen dat ik er hoogst gecharmeerd van ben.

Vind zijn muziek best aardig klinken, maar het verveelt snel..
