Ukraine’s attack on the borderline Kursk Region is expected to be among the focal points at the meeting
Russia will convene an "Arria formula" meeting of the UN Security Council on August 13 to discuss crimes committed by the Kiev authorities, the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN told TASS.
"An 'Arria formula' informal meeting of the UN Security Council members, themed ‘Crimes of the Ukrainian armed forces and nationalist battalions’, will be held on August 13," the mission said. The meeting is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. Moscow time (2:00 p.m. GMT).
Ukraine’s attack on the borderline Kursk Region is expected to be among the focal points at the meeting.
A massive attack by the Ukrainian military on the Kursk Region began on August 6. A missile warning has been repeatedly issued in region. As a result of artillery bombardments and attacks by Ukrainian troops at least five residents of the Kursk Region were killed, and more than 30 people, including nine children were injured. Thirty-four injured people, including five children, are being treated in hospitals. Local residents are being evacuated to other Russian regions, including Moscow and the Moscow Region.
The Defense Ministry has said that over the past 24 hours, Battlegroup North together with the Federal Security Service (FSB) prevented the Ukrainian forces’ advance and attempts to break through in the Sudzha and Korenevo districts of the Kursk Region. Kiev has lost 660 troops and 82 armored vehicles since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk Region.

The Ukrainian military does not violate restrictions on attacks by American weapons deep into Russia, the White House National Security Council spokesperson, John Kirby, stated on Aug. 9, while commenting on the events in Kursk Oblast to journalists.
The alleged breakthrough of Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk Oblast does not contradict the U.S. escalation management policy, and Ukraine has the right to use American weapons, Pentagon deputy spokesperson Sabrina Singh said earlier.

En zo'n rekensom kun je sowieso al niet zo maar maken aangezien Oekraine het niet zo lang gaat volhouden (in theorie) qua aantallen.
Het enige wat ik ermee wil zeggen dat de meatgrinder tactiek van Rusland wel degelijk tot winst leidt.
Of dat nou veel of weinig is, het leidt zeker wel tot winst.
Tegen wat voor kosten? Is voor Rusland totaal niet van belang want daar geven ze geen reet om.
Dat is waar ik op reageerde omdat je zei dat de meatgrinder niet tot winst leidt.
Dat is gewoon niet waar, als je simpelweg dat tegen elkaar weg streept.
En het zo simpel neerzet als jij deed, zonder alle andere factoren mee neemt (zoals steun van zowel publiek als andere landen en bv economie).

Two brigades of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces received the Pulstron reconnaissance and strike systems.
The systems were donated by the Come Back Alive Foundation as part of a joint project with the OKKO filling station chain called Eye for Eye 3.
The Pulstron reconnaissance and strike systems have been put into service with the 77th Airmobile Brigade and the 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade.
The Come Back Alive Foundation noted that in this way they, together with OKKO filling station chain and Ukrainians, had provided the command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces with five out of 10 Pulstron reconnaissance and strike systems.
