quote:The pace of grain exports across the Black Sea has been restored almost to pre-war levels - UAK
The rate of export of agricultural products along the “grain corridor” in the Black Sea has almost returned to pre-war levels, and the cost of cargo insurance has decreased significantly.
This was announced by the President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAK) Leonid Kozachenko on the air of Ukrainian Radio.
He recalled that before the full-scale war, the main route for grain supplies for export was the Black Sea terminals.
“On average, we exported 7.5-8 million tons of grain monthly. Now we have crossed this threshold, and this means that capacity has almost been restored. Although the Nikolaev and Kherson terminals are not working now, their restoration is still ahead. But what has been done is is very important,” Kozachenko said.
He clarified that Ukraine, in order to protect the maritime export corridor, installed “new weapons on the Black Sea shores that hit hostile targets that harm the transportation of grain.”
Kozachenko also praised the support of Great Britain, which declared its readiness to use military aircraft to escort ships owned by British companies.
“It is very important that it was the British insurance company that was the first to insure transportation. Now there are already four companies that insure transportation, and the cost of insurance has decreased significantly. Today it is 1.25% of the cost of the cargo. And we started with 7%. Because we have shown that we can protect these ships, the cost of insurance has dropped significantly,” said the president of the UAC.
Kozachenko emphasized that resolving issues with export by sea is extremely important for Ukrainian farmers, since the fourfold increase in logistics prices forced them to reduce the sowing of winter grain crops.
According to his information, in Ukraine a number of small and medium-sized farmers have begun to try to export grain on their own.
Over two years, the number of such legal entities increased by 1,500 entities. These are mainly small companies that previously exported grain using road or rail. Their products were sent mainly to the EU. Large companies were in such strong directions as the Middle East, China, and India.
“This well-established system began to crack when the Poles began to block the border, and now this issue is very aggravated. After all, the EU is very afraid when such corridors are open, and everyone, including small and medium-sized farmers, can directly supply their products to the EU. They Our small farms of 2 thousand hectares or 5 thousand hectares are considered agricultural holdings. Such European farms live on subsidies,” explained the president of the UAC.
quote:In Ukraine, made the first flight of a new kamikaze jet drone
A new kamikaze jet drone made its first flight in Ukraine.
This was announced by Maxim Glushak on his Facebook page.
The photos reveal an unmanned aerial vehicle developed in a canard configuration with a horizontal front tail.
In the aft part, there is a propulsion system of an unknown type, which in fact is a jet engine.
The presence of air intakes makes it possible to claim that a non-rocket engine is installed on the UAV.
In addition, there is a high probability that the engine thrust is adjustable.
The kamikaze drone has a straight wing with Hoerner-type wingtips, which provide additional lifting power and help to get rid of the “Dutch roll” due to weak directional stability.
Volunteers from the “Battalion Volunteer” charitable foundation took part in the tests of the new kamikaze drone.
For take-off, the drone needs a special trolley, which disappears during the climb and remains on the runway.
As Militarnyi reported previously, the Ukrainian military received the initial batch of new AQ 400 Scythe strike drones.
In an official statement, the company announced the successful completion of purchases aimed at mass production of these long-range kamikaze UAVs.
The company currently has an initial production capacity of 100 AQ 400 Scythe units per month. However, in the future, it plans to increase this number to 500 units.

quote:Ukraine’s existence will be pretext for Russia’s attack in 10 and 50 years - Medvedev
Russia intends to always attack an independent Ukrainian state located on "historical Russian territories".
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Censor.NET reports.
"The presence of an independent state in the historical Russian territories will now be a constant pretext for the resumption of hostilities," he wrote.
Medvedev issued another round of insults against Ukraine, calling it a "cancerous tumour", its leadership illegitimate, and the country not legally independent.
"This means that the likelihood of a new clash will remain indefinitely. Almost always. Moreover, there is a one hundred per cent chance of a new conflict, no matter what security papers the West signs with the puppet regime in Kyiv," Medvedev wrote.
According to him, a new Russian attack could happen "in ten or fifty years".
Medvedev believes that Ukrainians, "no matter how much they wish death to Russians now" and "no matter how much they hate the Russian leadership", will one day choose not to fight and die forever, but to live in a "great common state".
