Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.
Wat ooit begon als een DIG / Algemeen Final Fantasy topic is uitgegroeid tot een topicreeks waarin we alle jrpg's van Square Enix kunnen bespreken. Van Final Fantasy en Dragon Quest tot Kingdom Hearts en Chrono Trigger.
Het bedrijf Square Enix is ontstaan na een fusie tussen twee grote Japanse rpg bouwers (Square (1983) en Enix (1975)). De fusie vond plaats in 2003 maar er werd al langer over gesproken, zeker nadat Square in geldproblemen kwam door het niet zo succesvolle uitstapje naar film met Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
Square Enix is tegenwoordig ook eigenaar van Taito (Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble) en Eidos Interactive (Tomb Raider, Deus Ex). Uiteraard zijn fans van die games hier ook welkom, maar onthoud dat we vooral jrpg-fans zijn.
