Collega van mij woont in Kharkov, maar is naar het huis van zijn ouders gegaan. Dat ligt in een dorpje buiten Kharkov. Hij denkt dat het in dat dorp veiliger zal zijn dan in de stad. Ik denk het ook. Maar alla, het is bij invasies wel vaker voorgekomen dat ze juist in een dorpje hun gevechten gingen uitvechten. Dus hopen dat het de juiste beslissing was.quote:

- brandstof/munitie/smeermiddelen depots uitgeschakeld
- meerdere vliegvelden bezet door paratroepen, belangrijkste Kiev-Borispol
- aanvallen vanuit het noorden, zuiden en oosten
- veel grootschaliger dan verwacht
- Ukraiense luchtmacht op dag 1 effectief uitgeschakeld
Navo heeft de afgelopen anderhalve week veel troepen, materieel en luchtmacht aangevoerd naar Polen en de Baltische staten. En lijkt zich daar op te concentreren.
