Het gewichtheffen kent voor het eerst sinds Piet van der Kruk (R.I.P.) een halve eeuw geleden weer een Nederlandse deelnemer, tiener Enzo Kuworge heeft zich met sterke verbeteringen en een tikkeltje geluk geplaatst bij de superzwaargewichten!
De opzet is zoals altijd simpel: eerst het trekken, daarna het stoten. Iedereen heeft drie pogingen, de beste poging op de onderdelen wordt bij elkaar opgeteld. De gewichten gaan gedurende de competitie altijd omhoog, dus de besten komen sowieso aan het eind.
