Inderdaad! Jacky Ickx behaalde in 1968 in de Duitse Grand Prix op de Nordschleife zijn eerste pole. Hij was toen 23 jaar en 216 dagen. Dat record werd pas verbroken toen De Cesaris zijn pole behaalde.quote:
