Ja en weet je wat ik nog dacht! De afgelopen jaren heeft hij Zweden nooit echt de beste positie gegeven (zeker ook niet slecht), dus zou hij nog kunnen zeggen dat hij de afgelopen jaren het tegendeel heeft bewezen. Was gewoon een vooropgezet plan voor het moment dat ze weer voor de winst gaan 
Ik vermoed dat dit ook wel goed nieuws is voor de rest van Scandinavi. Niet meteen voor het ESF zelf.
De Sahara is zonder meer erg droog.

quote:Yesterday, Heads of the Delegation competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 have gathered in Tel Aviv for the special meeting. During the three days, professional conferences and guided tours will be held for them, including visit to the venue "Tel Aviv Expo".
Meeting is also attended by senior EBU officials led by Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, Mayor Ron Huldai, senior executives of the broadcasting company KAN, Executive Producer of ESC 2019 Zivit Davidovitch, Lead Director of ESC 2019 Yuval Cohen and Tali Katz, the head of the Israeli delegation.
Since there is quite a varied interpretation of what is required to be submitted at the Heads of Delegation meeting, ESCKAZ has prepared the correct information:
1. Sound recording of the song and the corresponding backing-track
2. A video clip of the song, to be used as a Preview
- No later than eight weeks prior to the ESC Event Weeks (equals to HoD meeting, thus see points 3, 5)
3. Original master recording of the track for the CD compilation as it is being performed at the ESC, i.e. the song in the CD must be strictly identical as the one to performed in the Show(s).
4. High Resolution photo(s) of the Contestant
5. Video of local performance, music and/or presentation video
6. Signed CD/DVD Agreements
- No later than the HoD Meeting
7. Information for the Official ESC Website and the CD/DVD Compilation album
- Within one week of the date of selection of the song and in no case by no later than one week before the date of the HoD Meeting (4 March)
8. Making available the recording of the track of the participating song on all legal download and streaming platforms
- As soon as the song is selected. If the rights owner doesn't possess the necessary resources it shall offer the
distribution of the recording to the EBU appointed Record Company.
9. Video presentation of the song on stage (on a Green background)
- No later than the date of the HoD Meeting
10. Information on the stage performance (including the positions and movements on stage), the performers, make-up and hair-dressing, commentary booth booking and tickets requests, requests for pyrotechnical or special effects and/or technical effects (to be approved by KAN and EBU), need of a drum kit and/or grand piano or other instruments and/or stage design elements (to be approved by KAN)
- No later than the date of the HoD Meeting. After that, changes are allowed only with consent of EBU and KAN. No changes or corrections shall be allowed, and no exceptions shall be made as from 30 days before the first Semi Final (14 April)
All material is delivered via uploading on the ESC intranet.
Any later changes may be approved only by the Host Broadcaster, in consultation with the EBU Permanent Services, but in such a case an automatic penalty shall be applied:
30% of the participation fee (min 5,000 - max 20,000 EUR):
- If the selected song (together with the backing-track) is not delivered as per the deadline.
10% of the participation fee (2,000 - 7,000 EUR):
- If the language of the lyrics or the title of the selected song are modified after the HoD Meeting.
- If the lyrics, biographies and pictures of the Contestant and
other information for the official website of the ESC and the CD DVD Compilation albums are not delivered as per the deadline.
- If any other material is not delivered by the deadline.

In Tel Aviv is het raketwaarschuwingssysteem afgegaan. Volgens het Isralische leger zijn er vanuit Gaza twee raketten afgevuurd. Getuigen melden dat ze explosies hebben gehoord, maar de autoriteiten hebben er nog niets over gezegd.
Zeker n raket is volgens het leger onderschept. Het andere projectiel is volgens Isralische media waarschijnlijk op een open vlakte terechtgekomen.
Het is hoogst uitzonderlijk dat het waarschuwingssysteem afgaat in Tel Aviv, omdat de stad zelden doelwit is van raketten. De laatste keer dat er zo'n aanval was op Tel Aviv, was tijdens de Gaza-oorlog van 2014.
Volgens Isralische media zijn er geen gewonden gevallen door de twee raketten die vanavond zijn afgevuurd. Ook zou er geen schade zijn aan gebouwen.
