Those discussions boil down to considerations of whether the normal protections afforded such grand jury information might be overcome, for example, by a congressional subpoena. That issue is complicated, and Congress may ultimately prevail. Een ander punt dat ik hoorde is dat wanneer de POTUS niet kan worden aangeklaagd (zoals DoJ richtlijn aangeeft) er alleen impeachment mogelijk is.
Als dan het rapport Mueller geheim gemaakt wordt is de POTUS de facto onschendbaar. Dan staat Trump boven de wet. Dat lijkt me niet de bedoeling.
